Welcome to Windward Way in the Whalehead Beach Club!

Escape to our beautiful coastal cottage in Corolla! Experience OBX life as you listen to the waves, unwind and de-stress.

Our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cottage offers the perfect combination of comfort and coastal style. Whether you're looking to relax and unwind or explore all that Corolla has to offer, our property has you covered. you'll be a short 3min walk to the beach and can bring your dog! Cool off in the large heated community pool in the community, or explore the Corolla Light town center and historic areas. You'll have access to a variety of shopping, restaurants, and attractions, making it easy to enjoy all that the area has to offer. At our place, you'll have the best of both worlds - a relaxing retreat and easy access to all the action!

Livingroom/Kitchen:
- Open floor plan kitchen with stone countertops and stainless steel appliances.
- Drip + Keurig Coffee maker
- Stocked with cooking utensils & pots/pans.
- Livingroom with great seating, a sleeper sofa and large smart TV
- Boardgames and puzzles for the fam!

Bedroom 1:

Outdoor space:
- Beautiful semi-private front patio with seating

Linens and Towels:
- Per advertised guest: 1 Beach towel, bath towel, hand towel and face towel.
- Beds will be made prior to arrival.
- We provide starter paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and coffee/tea.


We are dog lovers and accept dogs! (Dog fee is per dog. Sorry, no cats allowed)

Pool is available ~April to ~October dependent on weather. If you're staying in either month please message us to confirm availability

Guests are required to sign our Renter Agreement in addition to any platform agreement.
Per platform policies, Good Day Getaways is authorized to hold a security deposit due to our API integration with their platform. Guests are required to provide this deposit at least 2 days before the start of their stay. The deposit will be held securely and released within 7 days after the stay, in accordance with platform policy, provided there are no issues.

We had a lovely stay here! The condo is close to the beach and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and coffee. The unit is well appointed and we appreciated the beach wagon and chairs. It was a perfect long weekend getaway!!

Great beach cottage! So close to the beach (easy to walk with even young kids), town center right next to the complex (another easy walk) , and the home itself was super nice. Really appreciated how well equipped for children this home was. Very dog friendly area as well. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Spring Break Getaway

Never disappoints. Close to all of our favorite places and just steps from the beach. Love the location and all the community amenities. Look forward to staying here again on our next trip.

Location- Location

The location is perfect. Close walking distance to beach, lighthouse and corolla village. Pool was nice and layout of cottage was nice. Everything we needed was there to get us started.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We loved our stay in Corolla and would definitely book this place again in a heartbeat! Great location with a thoughtfully stocked kitchen and beach accessories. Our host, Scott, was super responsive and made us feel welcome from the beginning.

Beautiful Home

This was my first experience renting with Vrbo and i was not disappointed. The host was amazing with communicating and thought of everything. I am definitely planning on staying here again in the near future.

Great Location in Corolla

Very convenient location with a few restaurants within easy walking distance. Easy walk to the beach and just a short drive to the vehicle entrance to drive in the beach. The condo is new, clean and in great shape. One of the nicer homes I have stayed in.

Awesome Vacation!

Our stay was perfect! The condo was very clean, close to the beach, and close to the park across the street! Everything was very easy to walk to, including the beach, even with an almost one year old! The condo was very baby/toddler friendly and the complex was very quiet! We will definitely stay here again if we come to the outer banks!

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful, very clean and wonderfully stocked kitchen. Great location and within walking distance to the beach. Very quiet community and well lit which is nice when you need to walk your fur baby after dark. Check in was a breeze and Scott was ver responsive with any any questions I had. This was a perfect getaway and I would absolutely stay here again.

Quaint, quiet, and clean

Scott is a wonderful host and his property is perfect. It was neat and clean, well furnished, and in an excellent location. Everything you may need during your visit is walkable - we loved being able to park our car and not touch it for the rest of the trip.

Fantastic unit! Clean, well-stocked, and less than 10-minute walk to the beach. Great location right across from the lighthouse with easy access to restaurants and activities, including a fun outdoor bar and taco restaurant around the corner. Excellent communication with the owner about everything! Highly recommend.

Great community

We loved our stay here and will come back! It is an easy and short walk to the pool or beach and near restaurants, shops and a playground. It could benefit from a deep clean (shower and bedding), but overall this would not stop us from booking again.
