OMG, I could not have been any closer to Howard U. I was able to park my car and use public transport to get around the city. The actual apartment was clean and well kept. I will definitely return. Thank you.

This was an amazing stay! We stayed here for 6 nights, and it truly was the cutest place!! Super quiet neighbors. The host was beyond informative, even provided links with to do’s around DC! Responded back very quickly anytime I needed anything. Overall fabulous stay! Fabulous time! Will be coming back!

It was the perfect location for our visit to Howard University. Safe, quiet, very close to campus. Great walkable food options. The unit was quiet and very well maintained.

Won’t recommend it. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: It’s clear the property was renovated within the past few years. The management and host were very communicative but we still had several issues.Although the basement was clean; the bed linens and kitchenware were all dirty (smelled horrible and lipstick all over the cups and silverware). Everything inside the apartment is falling apart: entertainment center, chairs, etc. They advertised a sleeper sofa but in reality is a futon missing hardware pieces ( we didn’t feel it was safe for our boys to sleep on it). The plates and cups were all broken or chipped. It’s also advertised as family friendly but the location is far from family friendly. it’s in a horrible area of the city with dark alleys, homeless people, drug using, roaches and rats. We couldn’t even open the bathroom windows without the smell of weed stinking up the whole basement. Throughout the night all we could hear were ambulances and police cars. The front window has no curtains so the siren lights kept us up too. We didn’t a single peaceful night in the whole week.The unit is ok for a couple and/or simple trip but definitely not a place to bring a family for safety reasons.

I definitely had my cleaners do a thorough cleaning before the guest checked in and I have videos of how the cleaning went. Unfortunately, the guest was not able to provide theirs so I am unsure how dirty the unit they claim to be.
