The cabin is a beautiful home overlooking Sibley Lake. It was exhilarating waking up to a view of trees and the lake.
The hosts went out of their way to welcome us with a treat basket and provided everything we needed in the kitchen,
The five bedrooms worked great for us. Our one daughter and her two girls shared a king bed, my wife and I got the master suite and attached bathroom, the two boys got the bunk room, two girls got the queen bed, and our other daughter got the luxury of her own queen bedroom and slept in.
The big couch in the family room downstairs was perfect for movie night. The fire pit near the stairs going down to the lake made for a fun night roasting marshmallows and making smores. (Our son loaned us some campfire pie makers.) The kids enjoyed the Maui Mat (Lily Pad) and inflatables, and we had fun on the two, one-man kayaks and the paddle boat. Our grandson caught a sunfish off the dock, that we put back in. A really fun, memorable, and relaxing time for us.
We all enjoyed visiting the Safari North Wildlife Park, and Paul Bunyan Land on separate days.
