Cozy waterfront bamboo retreat, perfect for fishermen or outdoor enthusiasts

This property is truly a unique experience. Bring your own skiff(only flat bottom boats) and launch it in your private boat ramp right next to rental, or use one of the provided kayaks or stand up paddle board. This retreat is located on a private canal off of North River waterway, this is a fishermen or duck hunters dream location. For the duck hunter, we have access to a private duck blind 1/4 mile from the house. If hunting or fishing is not your jam the bird watching is next level. We have nesting osprey very close as well as regular, cranes, egrets, ibis, sand pipers, marsh hens, doves, bald eagles, kingfishers, ducks, geese, swan, purple martins, pelicans, sea gulls, and much more.
You are permitted to camp on the property as well, or bring your own RV. The retreat sleeps 2 but more can stay if you do decide to camp.

Host was great! He let us check in early and the place was immaculate. Very quiet and peaceful right off the water. They had chickens which were really cool.

Property was cute and inside was clean enjoyed the chickens also. Only thing is, the bedroom area gets a bit toasty but overall had a good time.

We are sorry about the heat, this summer has been a hot one and the two AC’s just have not been able to keep up, we just upgraded the rooftop AC so we should not have that problem again

The outdoor views are spectacular; especially at sunset. Very clean and cozy. Check-in was a breeze and Adam was quick to respond.

The hot tub is actually a whirl pool bath tub. The pictures definitely look better than in person, it has the right idea, just not executed very well. The sewer gas smell coming from the bathroom was very prominent, over all disappointing.

So first off people need to remember this is an RV experience and not a hotel experience when booking this place. If you’re not familiar with RV then you will not have proper expectations. Honestly, we thought this place was cute. We enjoyed waking to the sunrise every morning right by the water. We enjoyed the atmosphere, kayaks and loved the outdoor rain shower. I think overall our only complaint was that it was pretty warm in the RV. There is a portable AC but it is on the opposite side of the RV. Maybe centralize it and it would help with the temp control. The toilet did smell but RV toilets must have water kept in the bowl with deodorizer and as long as you did this it did not smell. This is something that must occur after the toilet is flushed every time. Like I said remember this is an RV. We would consider staying here again. Overall the romantic cuteness and amenities outweigh everything. Thanks for your hospitality.

Excellent location and comfortable environment

The property is very nice with a hammock and very easy kayak access to a nice inlet. It was a very relaxing stay!

For the price of the camper, I was pretty disappointed. We are go with the flow people so when things don’t work out perfectly, it’s totally fine. But in the listing it said there was AC and there wasn’t, just fans but was horribly hot and humid. The bathroom smelled horrible, we couldn’t use it long and the shower kept clogging. There was no wood for the fire pit, no hammock from the reviews. There was no notice that people would be coming onto the property to maintain the chickens (which is no big deal) but something to be aware of instead of being unannounced. I didn’t give this property 1 star because they immediately resolved my issue by processing my refund I requested for the second night which we didn’t use, we ended up leaving. Make note of these before you book

During this guest stay there was a faulty wax ring on the toilet that did allow some smell in the bathroom, but that has been resolved. The AC was never broken. She just didn’t realize she had it on fan and not the AC as for the firewood. I don’t understand how she missed the two cord worth of firewood, directly next to the trailer? She requested a refund for her second night at the same time that she expressed some of her problems, but not giving me a chance to resolve them.
