PLUMERIA

Plumeria is situated at beautiful Anini Beach, at 3585 Anini Road, 300 yards from the ocean, in an upscale yet relaxed residential area with the largest reef in the Hawaiian Islands. Our SPECIAL PERMIT NUMBER IS 2011-23 AND OUR TVNC NUMBER IS 4234 Nearby attractions include golf, beach combing, hiking, sailing, kayaking, wind surfing, diving, snorkeling, and fishing. It is minutes from wonderful shopping and dining in picturesque Hanalei Town, and championship golf on the courses at Princeville. The spectacularly rugged Na Pali Coast offers incredible views from the Kalalau Trail or from a boat. Tunnels Beach offers both the novice snorkeler and seasoned diver the experience of swimming through a tropical aquarium teeming with colorful fish.

Plumeria has a master suite with queen bed, a loft bedroom with another queen bed, and a den with a double futon/sofa. A broad lanai surrounds three sides of the home with a screened in area for dining and relaxing. There are two bathrooms, one with tub, plus an outdoor tropical shower with hot and cold water secluded in the garden.
The garden has tropical fruit, avocados, citrus, bananas, papayas and flowers you are welcome to pick. The home has solar hot water, a septic tank, and receptacles for recycling.

From $450 per night - 4 night minimum. Discounts available for linger stays. $325 cleaning and stocking. Prices do not include Hawaiian taxes.

Our special permit number is SP-2011-23, our TVNC number is 4234 and our property address is 3585 Anini Road. We are located right across the little beach road from the ocean.

To Respect the Neighboring Residential Properties:

1. All vehicles related to the use of our property shall be parked directly on our property, and not on the street. There is plenty of room to accommodate your cars next to the house.


2. Out of respect for our neighbors, elevated noise activities or amplified music shall not be permitted after 10:00 pm.

You are an easy 5 minute walk from a beautiful beach that is not over crowded. The kitchen is well stocked (the cutlery set is really nice) making cooking a pleasure. We really enjoyed the outdoor areas throughout the day and evenings. This is truly a slice of heaven.

We fell in love with everything about this property. The setting is breathtaking. The beach is close. The kids loved the outdoor shower. We found lots of great food options in nearby Kilauea. My sons said it was the best place they had ever been in their lives and the owners are lovely, kind people. I couldn’t recommend the Plumeria House more and hope we will be fortunate enough to return someday.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Plumeria Cottage. Everything was super clean and well-stocked with towels and beach gear. We were an easy, short walk from Anini Beach. The cottage had a lovely midcentury vibe and plenty of space. The outdoor dining porch and lanai were spacious and a wonderful spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea. Mary Ellen and Bill were both quick to communicate. We would definitely stay at the cottage again!

We had a beautiful week at Bill and Mary Ellen's beautiful cottage. It was rustic, peaceful and so gorgeous. It was so nice to walk to the beach, watch the sunrise (bring earplugs for Kauia's notorious chickens!!) and chill at the cottage. 10/10 would stay here again.

Our family had a great time at Bill and Mary Ellen’s cottage. The cottage is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and a short walk to beautiful Anini Beach. Communication was great, and check in/out was a breeze. Will definitely be staying again.

Lovely house with garden. Nice kitchen. Comfortable living room. Screened in lanai for dining. Open lanai rest of space. The outdoor shower is amazing. TV Washer/Dryer, beach towels,beach stuff under house. Cute tiny room with futon. Big master with private bath. Loft room comfy. Minutes to Anini Beach. Note: no AC, no safe for valuables( maybe there was but I did not see one). Truly lovely.

Our hosts were awesome. We had some wifi issues due to some pretty severe thunder and lightning storms when we first arrived and they quickly contacted the provider to get things up and running again. The house is absolutely idyllic, located in a very private area that is walking distance to Anini Beach. The outdoor shower with hot/cold running water is amazing and fun!! A perfect spot to enjoy this magical part of the island!! I highly recommend this lovely cottage if you are looking to stay on this part of the island.

Beautiful plantation style home: the walls and floors are amazing redwood planks and each wall is set with sets of French doors that open to a lovely, partially screened lanai. The home is surrounded by greenery and wildlife. We saw (and heard) numerous roosters, chickens, bull frogs, song birds, wild pigs. Close, easy walk to the peaceful Anini Beach. We were there during a rain storm that battered other Hawaiian islands, but treated us with gentle showers. The home was clean and well set up- agree that it could use some sharper knives.

We had a great stayThe porch was one of our favorite places to hang out, have our meals . Etc.It was a nice easy and short walk to the lovely beach.Communication with Bill went well.. very responsive..Some of used the outdoor shower, and we found it delightful. Also, it was a short drive to some fun and interesting places like Princeville, Hanelei, Kilauea Lighthouse and the Liamahuli Gardens.

Beautiful house. Garden was like garden of Eden with oranges, avocados, tangerines. The stream was filled with egrets and bullfrogs. This is the place to unplug and enjoy nature. Anini beach is steps away and calm a peaceful. Most relaxing vacation ever. Host was generous with towels and attentive.

My family had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The location was perfect: a short walk to peaceful Anini Beach which made traveling with a toddler so easy. The den also easily accommodated our crib rental.

Family vacation

Loved the house and having the beach right across the street. Everything we needed for our stay at the beach was included and the hosts were very accommodating. We can’t wait to visit again.

Great location and helpful hosts!

The location is great -- especially with little kids that need a calm beach. Anini Beach is the calmest on the island. Bill and Mary were both very communicative and helpful. We appreciated their generosity and support.

Anniversary vacation

We loved this rental! It was a cool place with a screened in porch, outdoor shower, wrap around lanai, great bathroom, and comfy bed. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely location

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the plumeria house. The property was gorgeous and the location absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend.
