About this place
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located suite. Located downtown just on the edge of midtown, this suite is the perfect location for all your Alaskan adventures. Minutes from both highways, whether you want to go north or south, this location is a perfect landing spot during your travels. We are less than a quarter mile from award-winning trail system citywide, paved and single track trails covering over 120 miles of the city.
The space
The suite is located inside the main house that the host lives in. There is a private entrance (grey door to the right of main entrance) for guests and door to the main house can be locked from both sides with sound proofing measures. There is also a fan in the room that will cancel out all sounds indoor and outdoor but host is pretty quiet.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire suite, this hotel room. There is a king sized bed and a beautiful master bathroom. Guests can also use the BBQ and outdoor seating if desired but these are shared spaces.
During your stay
Host lives on property and is available by phone or text. Host has lived in Alaska for 10 years and has access to a plethora of tourism knowledge. Happy to give advice, suggestions or aid in any adventure related questions.

It was a perfectly peaceful spot to rest after a long day and night traveling to ANC. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was luxurious, and the place was spotless. It was quick in and out turnaround.

The room was beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was gorgeous. Very convenient location. We’re not super familiar with Anchorage, so we weren’t sure of the location at first. But there were no issues and we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was very nice and clean and quiet neighborhood. We ended up canceling our car because we were only a mile from downtown area and it was a pleasant walk to restaurants and Anchorage Museum'. Also there was a free shuttle to the Alaska native heritage center from downtown. The fridge and TV, bed, and bathroom we’re all great! Nice hosts too! Used Lyft to airport.

Don’t let the outside appearance fool you. The room was great. Clean, quiet, and great bed. Enjoyed the extra touches- humidifier, noise machine(didn’t need), snacks, and drinks. The bed and shower exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this vrbo.

The property was spotless, the host was so gracious and let us check in early. They had bottles of water in the fridge. The bathroom was amazing with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The towels were extra large with high thread count. The bed was so comfortable with nice bedding. I would definitely stay here again.

Josi was super helpful with communication before checking in. We were initially concerned with arriving after midnight but the unit has a separate entrance and the door has a code, so arriving at any hour is no problem. The unit was exactly as advertised and super clean. Checking out was also very easy and communication with Josi afterwards was simple and effective. This was by orders of magnitude such a better option than some dingy overpriced 2-star hotel room

We really enjoyed our stay at Josi’s suite. It is a a beautiful, cozy space that is very well decorated. The suite is quite spacious and the king sized bed is extremely comfortable. Josi is a very friendly person and we appreciated spending time with her and her sister chatting on their front deck. We would definitely stay with Josi again and recommend her place to others looking for an alternative to a typical hotel room.

After a long travel this place was a welcoming spot. The room was just as it stated and so much more. There was fresh bottled waters in the refrigerator, snacks on the counter, and coffee ready to be made. Blackout curtains for the sun that was still up at 10pm and even a humidifier for the dry air. The bed was so comfortable. We appreciated being centrally located to downtown with easy access.
