Enjoy the private wooden deck right outside your door overlooking the pond in this rustic and cozy one level cabin. There is one queen bed, a pull-out sofa sleeper, full kitchen, washer/dryer combo, and a gas log fireplace. Parking is limited at this cabin, but overflow parking is available when needed. Pictures may not reflect the specific unit booked, but will be similar. One night's rent + taxes will be charged upon booking. These charges are fully refundable with a 24 hour cancellation, but forfeited in the event of a no call / no show.

Exactly as advertised

The property was very clean and exactly as described. Very convenient location to app state and blowing rock. Will definitely stay again.

This unit is 1 out of 4 in the building. It is a lower front side so you have a view of a pond. The village is nestled in a cute little valley and houses are amongst hills, woods and a pond. Parking was tight in our area. At one point there was 5 vehicles in a space that was hard to get 3 vehicles in, much less 5. The unit was clean. Linen, paper towels, coffee filters, and toilet paper provided. Coffee pot and all other appliances were clean. The mattress was stiff and the pillows were different thicknesses. One was hard while the other was like tissue paper. The only other negative note I have is that there is a noticeable musty smell. It was very strong. We got used to it after awhile but I assume being on the bottom made it feel damp along with being musty from an older build. There was no “check in.” You drive up with your code and enter it into a box, open it and get your listing number then find your cabin. Instructions are clear and buildings are numbered. Overall this is a great stay for hikers and people looking for adventure. It’s in a great location! Minutes from the parkway and blowing rock. Food is close by, the area was quiet, Moses Cone Park is less than 10 minutes away. Perfect location!!!

Nice Cabin

Nice cabin on a property with multiple cabins and a trout pond. This cabin was cozy and had all the amenities you would need. It's a first floor cabin, so if someone is in the cabin above you it can be loud.

The cabin was comfy and had a nice view. It was clean and had the items needed. The parking was not ample for the units at that location. Only 2 spots for 4 units, otherwise it was fine.

Graduation

We got into town late in the day after driving 8 hours. Attended my son's college graduation then had to check into cabin around 9pm that evening. We were disheartened that we had no where to park. Parking area at the cabin was barely big enough for 3 cars and there were three there when we arrived. We had to park down the hill which wasn't an issue but when we awoke the next morning there were three other cars in the cabin parking area. So a total of 6 vehicles, all parked behind and in front of each other. Otherwise the place was great. Exactly what was listed and certainly met our needs for a place to sleep for the night.
