I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The classic vintage vibe is adorable to me, and I appreciated the original details of the house such as the kitchen sink and the windows. The location is great. The most gorgeous sunsets you’ve ever seen!! And they can be seen from your living room here! Although I recommend you go see it from the beach that is a short walk down a quiet road and a path. I had the beach entirely to myself for over two hours watching the sunset one evening. Magical! The house does not have central heating, so keep this in mind especially if you are thinking of coming here with kids. The owner had space heaters that were needed for the cool mornings in October. The owner was great about communicating; she sent check in details far in advance of the trip and there was a door code which is always nice, no keys to fool with. I found the quiet street and beach to be just what I needed.

I have stayed at this cottage several times and really enjoy it. It's an old fashioned Michigan cottage situated about ten minutes outside South Haven. Very close to several beaches and antique stores. Very quiet and relaxing. If you are looking for fancy and modern, it's not for you. I would suggest fixing the screens. I really wanted to keep the windows open for the breeze, but was afraid too many critters would get in. However, there were fans and a room air conditioner that worked just fine. Beautiful views of the lake and sunsets.

Small and cozy little place to stay. Perfect for us since all we were looking for was a place to sleep at the end of the day. Beautiful beach location as well, wish we had time to explore it. Host was very nice and helpful as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed the vintage cottage!

The location was great. Nice view of lake and a short walk to the beach access for an almost private lake/beach experience.

Perfect size and amenities for my partner and I. If you’re an avid cook like me, you need only bring your favorite knife and a meat tenderizer; they have everything else!

Cute cottage near the beach

We loved staying here! It was a quick, scenic walk to the beach. Had everything we needed for cooking a few meals at home. We traveled with our toddler, and he zonked out in front of the a/c unit and we got to watch the sunset on the patio. Thanks Patricia for a lovely stay!

Quaint Cottage in Beautiful Location

My wife and I really enjoyed our weekend stay at the cottage. It was clean and had all the necessities that we needed for the weekend. You can enjoy a view of the lake while sitting on the deck. The beach was a short walk and was uncrowded and relaxing. Great base to go to attractions in the area.

This tiny cottage is cute and comfortable. The owner’s description is accurate. The internet works fine, but this cottage is just the spot to take a break from the digital world. It was the peaceful getaway we were looking for. This would also be a great place to stay for a solo retreat to write or do watercolor!
