The Dutch Getaway
This unique Dutch-style home was built in 1937 with all its original historical charm and just a touch of modern bohemian coastal updates so you can enjoy a pleasant, yet cozy stay in this historical Pensacola home along our beautiful mainland coastline. This location has so much to offer our guests. The Navy Point nature trail just around the corner with a paved 2.5-mile walking and biking trail along Bayou Grande as well as a boat launch. About a block away is Civitan Park with playgrounds, a walking path, and a kayak launch for a short water adventure to White Island. Just down the street is NAS, the home of the Blue Angels, the Naval Aviation Museum, and Pensacola lighthouse which is a must-visit. You can watch the Blue Angel practice shows from the front yard, down at Gibbs Point Beach or anywhere along the Bayou Grande Nature trail. Just 10 minutes east is Downtown Pensacola with restaurants, bars, Maritime Park, Wahoos stadium, seasonal festivals and festivities.Looking to visit the beach? Pensacola Beach or Perdido Key Beach, they are both a short 20-minute trip along our coastline. Pets welcome! (Pet Fee Applicable)

The house is very nice and clean and also to different parks and beaches that was easy to get to my wife loved how cozy the house was it is a perfect getaway for couples looking just to relax and go on walks at the parks nearby we would definitely go back and stay again and we would recommend to anyone on a note they had everything you needed to cook and grill out and plenty of towels and wash clothes.

A perfect cozy getaway for 2. The host was very friendly and responded promptly when we needed them. I would definitely stay here again.

very cute house and very affordable for a young couple on vacation. if you are visiting from out of state, beware of bugs!! not the host’s problem, simply a side effect of being in florida. other than that every room in the house is ultra clean and comfy. the air conditioning in the house is awesome! the pantry is also well stocked, which came in handy a couple of times. would definitely recommend to stay here for a little break.

This little treasure is a great hideaway, but close enough to everything. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. I love the extra touch of the live plants throughout the house. I will differently stay again.

Excellent! We were very impressed the Dutch getaway had everything we needed. Most places don't have proper utensils and pans. We were able to cook comfortably and even grill. I'd like to also say thanks for having everything accessible cleaning products, sweeper and linens. I appreciate that immensely! We have been down here to Pensacola three times now in the last three months and the places I've stayed in were horrible absolutely over priced! And not a one had a decently stocked kitchen. I will definitely recommend this little house to any couple that might be here visiting the kids or coming to the aviation museum to see the Blue Angels! Loved it! Thank you again for having this cute little house! Nikki and Adam

Great little house for our trip over Christmas. Clean and good location. We enjoyed Pensacola and the house was perfect for the three of us. Hubby, me and our cat Rascal.

It was like stepping into a cozy cottage. You’re surrounded by nature and yet everything you need is very close. The location is great. A big thank you to the host family for sharing their beautiful house.

Very Pleasant Stay

Such a nice place! For your money, you really couldnt ask for better accommodations. Very clean and homey--only about 15 min. from the beaches. We loved our stay.

Amazing stay! Beautiful place!! Super clean, close to everything including beach! Very spacious for 3 plus our puppy. Kitchen was very well equipped with all utensils needed! I still can’t get over how clean and cute this place was! Will definitely be back here next beach trip!

Everything You Need

This place was great with everything you need available. The hosts are excellent! It’s in a great location, easy to get in and out of and private. It was a perfect size for my wife and I. Very comfortable and cozy.

Very cute and comfortable cottage

The property is centrally located for going to either Perdido Key, Pensacola Beach, the Naval museum, shopping and much more. I would recommend this property if you’re looking for a relaxing stay in the Pensacola area.

The house was veey clean and nice just like in the pictures. The place was great for my wife and I as we celibrated our 20th annaversery. It is located super close to the base and beach. Would totally stay again!
