Cozy, rustic cottage, just a10 min. walk to Acadia National Park's natural Seawall. Enjoy peaceful privacy on your screened porch while observing wildlife living in adjacent woods.
Entry Screen porch , eat-in kitchen has a gas stove, skylight, and dining area. The bedroom has a double bed, a twin and a comfy rocker/glider. Bathroom with shower.
This quiet haven is 3 miles from the charming center of Southwest Harbor with its restaurants, shops, kayak & bike rentals, historic library and parks. In the other direction you'll find ANP Seawall Campground, Wonderland, Ship Harbor Trail, and Bass Harbor Light.

My stay at Seawall Point Cottage was all I could have hoped it would be. The cottage is very clean, well-maintained, and close to many attractions. The hosts were very kind and attentive. It was especially nice to have a screened in porch to sit on.

Their cottage was so cute and cozy! It had basically everything we needed and lots of equipment to make some meals there. We loved the touches of decor that represented Mount Desert Island and it was peaceful seeing all the wildlife pass by the property. It seemed quieter than staying in Bar Harbor but still only a short drive to Acadia NP - perfect! Space was very clean. Hope we can stay here again someday.

Amazing hosts and amazing location!!!! The cottage was so cozy, and it was so lovely to sit out on the porch or the yard to laze around when we weren’t exploring the island. The hosts helped us get set up to boil our own lobster which was so much fun! Awesome quiet calm place far from crowds allowing wildlife like deer, hummingbirds, turkeys, and butterflies to swarm the property, but close enough to spots like echo lake for swimming or other great hikes like Beech Mountain. If we ever come back to Acadia we are staying here!!

Great cottage on the “Quiet Side” of Acadia. A fully functional kitchen with access to a bbq grill makes cooking simple meals easy. Owners are very nice and helpful. We boiled our own Lobster one evening…when in Maine that’s what you do. Easy walk to the seawall for beautiful sunrises and sunsets with access to free camp fire rings along the rocky shore for s’mores! Can’t say enough about the beautiful area and less crowds while having easy access to the Bar Harbor area. Make sure to grab a nitro cold brew at Vacationland Coffee located behind Upper Deck!

A beautiful Location

An amazing place that is right in the heart of the western part of mount desert island. So close to the Seawall and some great hikes and southwest harbor. An easy drive into the eastern part of the park and Bar Harbor.

The cottage made the perfect getaway for our honeymoon! We were so impressed with the property and kindness of the owners. We loved staying on the quiet side of the island and spending time in Southwest Harbor. You will not regret staying here!

Excellent host! Very friendly and had great communication, perfect location to be far away from the busy areas but an easy drive around the island. Loved the personal touches in the cottage and perfect for just my sister and I to have a relaxing getaway.

We had a great time staying at the Seawall cottage. It was the perfect location in distance to Acadia and the rest of Mount Desert Island, we drove all over the island and hiked/biked the northeast, southwest, and northwest parts of the island. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We loved seeing the wildlife in the mornings and evenings.

Cute, quiet cabin a short walk away from the beautiful Seawall. Surrounded by green grass, flowers and wildlife, makes you feel like you’re walking into a fairy tale.

We had a wonderful stay at this little cottage. The cottage was impeccably clean, and all the amenities were in great condition and worked great.The host was super nice and very helpful! The host was very respectful of our privacy, and we always felt very welcome.The property was also very clean and well kept. It was very peaceful there and very relaxing with all types of wildlife in the area like deer, rabbits and foxes.The location was also great with the ocean just a stone's throw away and the quaint town of Southwest Harbor with all its neat little cafes and shops just up the road.We have stayed at many Vrbo properties over the years, and I am happy to say that this property ranks at the top of the list.Highly recommended!!!!

The Perfect Getaway

Absolutely loved southwest harbor and Acadia National Park. This is the perfect cottage to explore the national park. On the quieter side of the park and tons of hikes and water access within minutes of the location. Absolutely loved it!

Seawall Point Cottage

Very nice & convenient place to stay & explore the quiet side of Acadia National Park & Mt. Desert Island. We enjoyed our time there. There is a nice porch attached to the cottage where you can watch deer & turkeys in the yard. We enjoyed time spent at the cottage as much as the areas we visited. The cottage was perfect for my wife & I. The hosts are very friendly & we would definitely stay again.

Good location

Less then 5 minute walk to sea wall and shop & restaurant right beside it too.. 10 minutes to southwest harbor & 25 to bar harbor Overall good location wasn’t as crazy priced as other places on the island , plenty of wildlife around & property was clean and has everything you needed too would definitely recommend
