One of the most beautiful 2 bed/2 bath condo in Ocean Edge Resort. Located near public beaches. Ocean Edge resort offers swimming pools and private beaches but those are not included in the fee. New hardwood floor and high ceiling will make your vacation unforgettable. The unit is on second floor. Towels and linens are not included.

This place was great for a quick long weekend trip to Cape Cod. It’s a good central location as we spent time in Brewster, Wellfleet, Chatham, and took the ferry over to Nantucket. We had no issues checking in and Coby was very responsive.

Overall, the stay was nice, you can clearly tell that updates are being made to the condo so some outlets were not working and some of the renovations are not fully completed but I have to say, they are moving in the right direction. The renovations will be very nice when fully completed. The host was so nice and responsive, which made everything very easy. The laundry appliances and kitchen appliances are all new and very nice. The air conditioning is old and loud but that is the norm for these condos so wasn’t news to us who come to this condo area every year. Overall, it was a nice stay! Thanks to the host.

We where honestly a little disappointed over the state of the condo. Kitchen was updated and had nice appliances but the rest of the condo felt like we lived in the middle of a renovation. Some light switches did not work and lights flickering. Was not able to lock slider door and front screen door would hit you hard if you where not careful. Ac unit in living room only and had to sleep with open doors.Condo had great quiet location and with some more updates would be a great place. We made the best of our time there and love the cape.

Hi Linda- I think you forgot to mention that both bathrooms are upgraded too. The balcony door is fine and as you noted you have to be careful when you get in and out that’s not our responsibility. Overall, I’m a little disappointed that all this was not communicated to me at all. Also very disappointed on how you and your company left the place dirtier than usual.

We really enjoyed our stay and the property was exactly as advertised. The host was provided all of the information we needed and was very responsive. Would definitely come back and stay again.

Comfortable, spacious condo

While this property is outdated it was clean and the description was accurate. The owner was very responsive and helped by driving to the property when we got locked out. Recommend a 2nd and 3rd back up key option. It was helpful to have dishes and other items like ice packs, cooler, spices etc in the unit as well as laundry. Recommend to fix the leaky kitchen faucet and a new master bed frame (current one squeaks with any slightest movement).

Wasn’t clear that we had to provide our own linens when we first rented the place. It was made clear at time of check in directions. The apartment was clean, but a bit worn down. A/C is a wall unit in living space, but doesn’t cool sleeping spaces well.

Disappointed

Having stayed in condos at Oceans Edge multiple times before, I felt disappointed in this particular unit. While the location was great, there were several issues with our stay. First, the front door was wide open when we arrived and one of the bedroom doors was shut and locked so we couldn’t get in. My biggest complaint is that the sliding glass door to the back of the house did not lock. As a group of three females, this felt very unsafe. We found a piece of wood the put in the slider’s track so that it could t be opened from the outside, but feel that should not have happened. Functioning door locks seem like a bare minimum to be expected when spending money to stay on vacation. Additionally, there were many broken or non-functional items in the house. Two of the five dining chairs were visibly broken and unusable, none of the lamps in the living room worked, the blind in the front bedroom did not go up, a cabinet in the kitchen didn’t close at all, etc. I have made it a habit of choosing Ocean’s Edge properties for my Cape vacations because the quality has been consistent to good, but after this stay, I am inclined to look elsewhere next time. The lack of functioning locks was unacceptable. This unit was overall in need of fixing and an overall update. I am left feeling disappointed.

Thank you! While I will not argue with you on the your point of view regarding the condo condition, there is no basis on most of the comments you made. The door was open because you arrived early, and the cleaning crew was still there cleaning. It is disappointing and sad to see how people have time to write all this narrative with twisted facts that adds no value. This is by far the worst experience I had with a guest in the last 10 years, and I would never recommend you as a guest to anyone. A true complainer!
