This 1925 historic building called ‘Acorn Manor’ has been recently renovated with modern amenities and old-world charm. You’ll be within walking distance to lots of dining options in Glenwood South and Five Points. When your adventurous days come to a close, unwind in the comfort of the modern living room — featuring a Smart TV and a laptop-friendly workspace — and prepare your favorite meals in the eat-in kitchen. This is unit 1A.

Acorn Manor is located in the Glenwood-Brooklyn Historic District. We are .5 miles from Glenwood South and .5 miles away from Five Points.

Parking is in the rear of the property down an unpaved alley via Cole St. There is one parking spot per unit. Any additional cars must park on Cole St
Absolutely no smoking or parties on the premises. Violations will result in a $300 fine.

My stay here was great! The apartment was spacious and clean. I love the old creeky floors. The location is close to a ton of restaurants, bars, and parks. The check in process was basically non existent it was so easy. Parking is limited to 1 car per room. Street parking is hard to find.

In my opinion, Acorn Manor is like a home away from home! The unit was well-equipped with the appropriate amenities, items, and conveniences. My travel experience was enhanced by the shops and restaurants located nearby. The unit was impeccable and pristine. The host was very professional, prompt, responsive, and easy to work with. The parking lot was wonderful as represented in the promotional information with great signage and easy access to the City streets. Last but least, I would not hesitate to stay at Acorn Manor again.

Great location in a very nice neighborhood. Close proximity to downtown, we were able to walk everywhere. Apartment was clean and stocked with everything needed!

The space was very comfortable and clean. Parking was very convenient and all of the instructions were were very easy to follow. Easy check in and easy check out. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay close to heart of things in Raleigh.

Great location

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful girls weekend. It was the perfect location close to family and friends. We felt safe and the other guests were quiet and respectful at night.

Perfect spot on Glenwood

I enjoyed my stay at Acorn Manor. Everything was close by, it was the best location near downtown. Very clean and comfortable in this adorable historical home.

Safe and beautiful

Traveling alone I felt safe and welcome with private off street parking The natural light from all the windows with Raleigh’s beautiful trees, made the views and the location perfect.

Cozy spot near NC State

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick trip to the Raleigh area. Great internet connection for a work day and plenty of room to relax. Beautiful original windows provide excellent light. Great find!

Excellent stay, again.

This is our second time staying here. Each time has been exceptional. We do have two suggestions. It would be helpful to have another light in the bedroom and something to make the tub less slick when showering.

Charming, Clean, and Exactly as Described!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Raleigh rental! Everything was exactly as described—immaculately clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, with convenient designated parking right out back. We especially appreciated the little bit of history shared about the home—it’s a 100-year-old property, and those details added such a lovely, personal touch. You can really tell the hosts care about the space. Would absolutely stay here again!
