Spectacular La Jolla Shores Location!!! Located in a private gated complex of only 3 units. This stunning, single level, fully furnished penthouse unit is just steps from fabulous restaurants, shops, the world famous La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club, Blacks Beach and La Jolla Cove. Just a short drive to Torrey Pines Golf Course, Downtown San Diego, PetCo Park, San Diego Bay, Mission Bay, and SeaWorld. The immaculate interior offers 4 bedrooms, 2 baths both with granite counter tops, open and light filled living areas, newer carpet and natural stone flooring, fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and a gourmet kitchen. Elevator and two secured parking spaces.

La Jolla Shores is a beach and popular vacation/residential community of the same name in La Jolla, San Diego, California. The quaint La Jolla Shores business district is a relaxed, mixed-use village encircling Laureate Park, on Avenida de la Playa in the village of La Jolla Shores. The village has several fine dining restaurants as well as plenty of casual dining places, shops, and a few galleries. You can take surf lessons and rent surfboards, boogie boards, paddle boards, and wetsuits from Surf Diva. Kayak, snorkel, and bike tours and rentals are available at San Diego Bike and Kayak.

The beach is approximately one mile long and stretches from the sea cliffs just north of La Jolla Cove to Black’s Beach south of Torrey Pines State Park. The Shores meets the Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus and Kellogg Park (with a playground right next to the beach), encompasses the Scripps Pier and borders the San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park Ecological Reserve to the south. The beach is a popular launch point for kayakers and has a swimming area only and a surfing only area.

Pros: Great location! Walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The house is very spacious and was perfect for our group of 8. Cons: The furniture is dated and the house smells a little like an old home (not a huge problem, though).

The host was very responsive at all times. The place is big, spacious, great outdoor space, great stocked kitchen -- and the location is absolutely incredible - just 1 block from the main street in La Jolla Shores with all of the shops and restaurants and 1 block from the amazing LJS beach. We parked our car when we got there and walked everywhere. And we never missed a sunset with a glass of wine (in a cup)! Would stay again and would definitiely recommend!

Our host was an excellent communicator and made sure we knew all of the codes for the gate and parking garage well ahead of our stay.The penthouse was roomy, nicely decorated and well stocked. It fit the needs for our family very well. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer in the penthouse.

This place was a great find for our family of 4 adults and twin 2 year olds! Place is great for kids and right next to the beach. Parking a huge plus. One of the best properties we have stayed in, well thought out amenities.
