A very pleasant stay

The owners were very accomodating in meeting our requests. The storage in this small space was phenomenal even with a full walk in closet. We were quite pleased.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property based on my experience. I arrived around 10:30 PM to discover another guest had somehow been given access to the unit I reserved and was already settled inside. To be accommodating given the late hour, I agreed to stay in another available unit.Unfortunately, the replacement unit would not cool adequately despite the portable AC running all night. The following day I spent hours communicating with management, documenting the HVAC issues, waiting for maintenance, and allowing them an opportunity to correct the problem. When the attempted repair did not work, management ultimately moved me back to the original loft after the other guest departed and it was cleaned.I hoped that would finally resolve the situation, but after running the AC in the loft for several hours, that space also remained extremely hot and uncomfortable. By approximately 9:30 PM on my second night, I had enough and left the property to find other accommodations.I do appreciate that management was responsive and made several attempts to resolve the situation. However, I spent a significant portion of a short vacation dealing with access issues, HVAC problems, maintenance, and moving between units. Ultimately, I did not receive the comfortable accommodations I booked and paid for. The property needs to address both its guest-access procedures and cooling systems before I could recommend staying here.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are deeply sorry that your stay fell so short of the comfortable experience you booked and deserved. While we are glad our team was responsive, we completely agree that you should not have spent your short vacation dealing with room mix-ups and air conditioning issues. Your patience during this frustrating situation was greatly appreciated. We have taken immediate action to ensure these issues do not happen again: * Guest-Access Procedures: We have audited our check-in system and updated our digital lock procedures to completely eliminate the risk of double-booking or incorrect unit access. * Cooling Systems: We have had HVAC technicians fully service the air conditioning units in both units to guarantee they cool properly, even during peak temperatures. They also confirmed that the AC units were purchased only 6 months ago and that the AC units were sufficient for the size of the rooms. Unfortunately, there was a heat wave that the host has no control over. The commercial AC power that works best for this type of heat wave is one that you would find in a hotel with multiple rooms versus this single family home with 1 room rented. We are happy to report that no other guest has had any further AC issues.

Perfect San Diego Stay!

It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, and the commute was not bad. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. It reminded me of when I lived in San Diego as a kid. Beautiful property; very clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Quiet and comfortable

Comfy and spacious loft! Appreciated that owners were very responsive. The area felt safe in a quiet neighborhood. Also appreciated having a driveway parking spot. I would recommend to anyone!

Cute Studio

Cute clean studio in quiet neighborhood. Loved the driveway parking and was easy access to major roadways. A great deal :)

Spring Valley Verbo.

Really enjoyed staying at the property. Bed was quite comfortable. Huge closet to keep your clothes. Nice double sink for getting ready. Comfy couch and a nice big TV. Only thing missing in my opinion was a small coffee maker. Other than that we were very happy with the stay.
