Nice stay

My daughter and I stayed here with friends after a day of skiing. Great location a short walk to plenty of shops and restaurants in Blowing Rock. Kate was very helpful allowing us to check in early as it was raining and we wanted to get into our room before a clearer night session of skiing. Very comfortable and clean.

Cozy spot

The Rhodie was such a comfortable and cozy spot for our weekend girls trip. It was an easy walk to Main Street and Sunset. The gas fireplace was much appreciated and the beds were comfy. There were so many thoughtful touches like coffee pods and extra blankets. Easy to get to and plenty of parking were great perks too!

Great place to stay!

This was such a nice place to stay. It was very clean. The host had left a bottle of wine and everything needed for coffee. The location was very convenient to all the shops and restaurants in Blowing Rock. We will definitely stay there again!

Girls vacation trip

We have stayed in Royal Oaks Condominiums two times before but different units. Hands down, this unit was the best one and would definitely stay there again. Tim and Kacy were the best as to accommodating and very responsive. Unfortunately what we thought would be our usual mountain trip, turned out a lot more than expected. We were there at the time Helene hit western North Carolina. Luckily we did not loose power, did have water, no internet, which was minor compared to others in the area. Kacy and Tim stayed in touch. To put into perspective, the son of one of the women with us, along with his fiancé and 5 month old baby and 3 other adults and a dog were staying on Beech Mountain. They had to evacuate and because there was no place for them to go, they came to our condo. Kacy and Tim were so kind and had no problem with all of them staying the night. And if that was not enough, they helped us find another unit in Royal Oaks the next day, for the kids to stay, and for that we will always be grateful. We will definitely come back to Blowing Rock and Royal Oaks and hopefully Jim and Kacy’s unit.

Great trip to Blowing Rock

Beautiful clean condo in great location (walkable to town and restaurants). Kacy was great with the communication and even ordered a crock pot since the condo didn’t have one yet when I asked. Couldn’t really ask for more! Will stay again.

Perfect spot for BR stay

My parents and my husband and I spent a few days in Blowing Rock after long-term family obligations. It is a great location to walk to town or take a short drive to several destinations including Boone. We enjoyed being together and sharing meals in the clean and inviting kitchen.

Quiet but close to everything

This condo is in a perfect location to downtown Blowing Rock and is an easy drive to the Parkway and Boone. As older adults, we appreciated the first floor location, the quiet neighbors, beautiful landscaping and easy parking. The owners are pleasant and responded promptly to our questions. The condo itself is comfortable and nicely decorated, and it had everything we needed for our nearly two-month stay. Two couples or a family could easily enjoy a long weekend, though it is a little small for more than two for a lengthy stay. We highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed.

Great get away spot

The property is conveniently located near town center but in a quiet complex. The condo is decorated nicely and was spotless. The host left a welcome bottle of wine which was a nice extra. The only small issue was that who ever was above us had a child who ran back and forth constantly for a good part of each afternoon. It was odd but we assumed they were not thinking about how it played below-at any rate just part of life! We would rebook and appreciate the care taken by the proprietor.

Anniversary Trip to High Country

Mothers/Fathers Day Getaway

Booked the weekend for a Mothers Day gift for my wife and the dates worked out for a Father’s Day stay as well. We loved it! Perfectly located in downtown Blowing Rock with just a short walk to the heart of town. Clean, spacious, Comfortable beds, couldn’t ask for more!

Perfect spot

We were visiting for App state graduation. Spent some downtime stroking through downtown Blowing Rock, had easy access to Boone, condo was comfortable and had what we needed. Great, easy stay!

Great location, wonderful rental

The unit is the perfect size for 2 couples. It is beautifully appointed and the kitchen was well stocked. Located within an easy walk to downtown. The host communicated well. Everything in the unit worked and it is clear that the owners take pride in keeping the unit clean, updated, and comfortable. One of the nicest places we have stayed in the area!

Great stay!

We spent the weekend and it was outstanding. We loved the location - so easy to walk to everything in Blowing Rock and easy access to the main connection road to Boone. The condo itself was very nicely decorated and the setup was great for our 2 couples. Nice amenities in the condo. The complex was very quiet and parking was super convenient right near the entrance to the condo. Would definitely stay here again on our next weekend trip to the mountains!

Anniversary

We had a wonderful time staying in Blowing Rock and this place was just perfect. It's walkable to downtown and close to both the Blue Ridge Parkway and minutes from Bass Lake/Moses Cone park. The neighborhood is quiet, the beds and living areas are comfortable and it was just a perfect place to get away for the weekend. The owner is very easy to get in touch with and was very easy to work with! We would strongly recommend this place! (Plus I'm Scottish so I am a super fan of Highland Coos (Cows) so the picture above the bed was an extra plus for me :D )

Beautiful, well appointed and great location!

I am an App Alum and our daughter is attending App in the fall. We wanted to bring her back to Boone one more time before she hit that commit button to attend App. Having such a beautiful, clean and well appointed condo to come back to after a few long days on campus and King St was really really nice. The hosts were phenomenal and communicated very well with me. We will most definitely book again!

Perfect Getaway

Of all the rentals we have stayed in this was the cleanest and nicest. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. Minutes from great food and skiing. We will definitely stay here again anytime we go to Blowing Rock/Boone area.
