Beautiful 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath Beach Cottage with Central AC

Thanks Jen :)

Thank you for your honest review Nancy. Every year we pick 2 properties to update before the summer season, the Lazy Parrot and Big Blue Whale are our spring project this year. Hope to see you again next summer! Jason & Kara Olenio, Luna)Blu

Thanks Greg, hope to have you back again.

We own and operate 15 rental properties at Hampton Beach. People like Cassandra have caused us to move 10 of them to year-round rentals, providing less weekly summer rentals for people that want to come enjoy the beach. It’s really sad that we have to do that, it’s just hard to get punched in the face by unreasonable people like Cassandra. The Lazy Parrot is a four bedroom, two bathroom beach cottage with central air-conditioning. Re renovated the kitchen and the downstairs bathroom last winter. It’s absolutely amazing compared to some properties at Hampton beach, although it’s not the Ritz Carlton. Cassandra, and people like Cassandra, should stay at the Ashworth or the Marriott if they expect granite countertops and someone to come fluff their pillow before bedtime. Please read our other reviews from normal people with reasonable expectations.

This review isn’t about the Lazy Parrot it’s about money. Donna wanted me to pay her to leave a good review, which I will not do! Despite Donna’s ridiculous one star rating, the Lazy Parrot continues to be a 4.5 star property. Please see the 5 star reviews both before and after Donnas stay. I will take a minute and address some of the things that Donna mentions. My wife and I own and operate 15 rental properties at the beach. The central air conditioning system works perfectly and I replace the filter every 30 days. The refrigerator works perfectly and isn’t missing any pieces or parts. There are smoke/CO2 detectors all over the house as required by the Town Of Hampton. The gas grill works perfectly if you know how to use a gas grill. The kitchen has everything you need and then some, if there’s anything you do need that we don’t have, just ask, I live right up the street and would be happy to get whatever you need. Lots of drama in this review. If any of what Donna states was true, we wouldn’t have five star reviews, and we wouldn’t be a 4.5 star property…

Parking is clearly stated in our listing and clearly marked when you arrive at the Lazy Parrot. This guest brought extra cars, and wanted to park them in other peoples parking spots which we cannot allow. There is a pay lot at the end of the street (100 yards away) that charges $20 a day if you have additional cars.

Thanks Ed. We plan on doing a lot of repairs and updates after the summer rental season is over….

Thank you for your open and honest review. Yes, we are aware of these issues. Unfortunately, we only have between 10 AM and 3 PM every Saturday to do repairs and and updates. Everybody wants to check in early, and nobody wants to check out at 10 AM, so that limits our time even more. We tried to get the bathroom and the ceiling updated in June, but finding a contractor was close to impossible. We will address these things in September when our summer season is over. As you can see from some of our guests reviews, we’ve had people back to the Lazy Parrot 3, 4, 5 years in a row. Every year we take suggestions and make all our properties better.

We try hard to accommodate all of our guests and accurately describe our properties with pictures and video. Jeanne showed up with five cars and a dog. We clearly state that we only accommodate parking for two cars, and we don’t allow animals at any of our properties. Since I couldn’t accommodate her needs, we get a one star review. Please read our other reviews from other happy guests.

Thank you so much Frank! We look forward to having you again…

Thanks Megan. I will reach out to you in regards to the leak, we’ll want to address that ASAP.
