Sunrise to Sunset - Steps From the Ocean! Hot Tub!

Located at Milepost 2.5, Sunrise to Sunset is our cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom Kitty Hawk cottage offering an unbeatable combination of ocean views, beautiful sunrises, outdoor living with a private hot tub, and a convenient location just across the street from the beach. The bright and inviting great room features 13 windows overlooking the ocean, filling the home with plenty of natural light and bringing the beauty of the coast indoors.

Start your morning on the front deck, the perfect spot for coffee and spectacular sunrise views. In the evening, head to the back deck to fire up the gas grill for sunset dinners, play cornhole, relax in the hammock, unwind in the private hot tub, or roast s'mores around the firepit.

When you return from the beach, you also have the convenience of rinsing off in the large outdoor shower downstairs.

KITCHEN & GREATROOM -
The open great room provides plenty of space for everyone to relax, with two full-size couches, a ceiling fan, books, games, movies, and a 50-inch Smart TV with Blu-ray/DVD player above a cozy (electric) fireplace.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a large dining table that seats 8. The fully equipped kitchen was recently renovated and includes additional seating for 4 at the kitchen bar, and a hall pantry with plenty of storage as well as:
- Standard coffee maker and Keurig
- Microwave
- Blender
- Second refrigerator recently added in the utility room for extra food and beverage storage

OUTDOOR/BEACH AMENITIES -
Under the house, you'll find plenty of off-street parking, access to the backyard deck, and a storage area that includes:
- Hot tub
- Large outdoor shower
- Fire pit
- Extra refrigerator in the utility room
- Beach cart
- Multiple beach chairs

We loved our stay here, it was even better than described. Quick walk to the beach and you can hear the ocean waves at night. We loved the way the house was decorated, and it had everything you need in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise to Sunset! Our host Howard was very communicative and welcoming, and proactively provided all the info we needed before we even arrived. The house was clean and beautiful, steps away from the ocean, and the kitchen was well stocked with all cookware for meals at home. They had beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, and plenty of board and card games for indoor family time. Their home was very well appointed, they literally thought of everything. The ocean view from the front room and deck was so beautiful. We would highly recommend Sunrise to Sunset for anyone looking for a relaxing place to make wonderful memories with family!

This house is almost too comfortable! The bedrooms are so cozy. There are so many extra touches throughout the property that make you feel like you’re homeThe great room involve everyone! The kitchen is easy to move around and fully stocked. Everything was clean and decorated so beautifully. The front deck views the ocean and the back yard has a fire pit with chairs, downstairs covered patio with sofa and hot tub. Tremendously enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Howard's property. The place has a wonderful view and vibe and so many extras provided (pack n play for baby, kids beach toys, etc.). Howard was very responsive and hospitable. Would definitely stay again!

Kitty Hawk Getaway!

Really enjoyed visiting Kitty Hawk! Lots of rain through our stay but there are so many things to do besides the beach, it was easy to stay busy! Really enjoyed Sunrise to Sunset! Great house and great hosts!!

Excellent vacation home!

We enjoyed everything about this house! The location was excellent, the owner so kind and helpful, the house was stocked with everything you could think of and then some to make our stay so very hospitable. Everything was cleaned, tidy and organized and the house came with great activities to enjoy when not at the beach. Will def stay here again!

Overall great!

Overall great stay! Very nice deck (front and back) to watch the sunrise/sunset. The string lights, hot tub, and fire pit are awesome additions as well.
