This centrally-located Bungalow style Cottage is a charming nearly century-old home in the heart of Flag that's been reimagined into a beautiful and cozy home with plenty of space. The house sits just blocks away from restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, the train station, and several music venues, while maintaining a quiet and residential feel. You can't beat this amazing location in our beautiful town!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was fine, a bit old. The front door sticks. The stairs are dangerous. The kitchen is really nice. The furniture was worn out

Location is excellent. Poor experience otherwise

This was an underwhelming stay. The location was excellent but there are some issues with the house and the property group managing it. I'll start with they charge a deposit which should be held by VRBO. They don't and I reported this. If the deposit was held with VRBO they would have to put in a claim for charges. They know VRBO would have denied them. Mostly, this house has old house issues. The primary bedroom smells like an animal (or litter box) was in there. wasn't pleasant! The secondary bedroom light fixtures are broken (surprised they didn't blame us for that), the third room light fixtures get burning hot when on (an electrical issue) and the hallway of the second floor has the stairs going 18 inches into the hall without a rail for safety, definitely not safe for children or anyone. The courtyard was covered in leaves like it wasn't cleaned in weeks and we couldn't use the outside at all. The garage also had a dead animal smell in it. Make sure to take a video of the whole place at the beginning of your stay.

Work Trip

Nice place, comfortable and mostly clean. Instructions stated to park inside garage, but there was no code provided. Speakers in the home did not appear to work; there were no instructions on how to use. Attempted to reach out via text, and the response was very delayed; responded next day after we had checked out. Think it would be good to have a battery operated blower of broom to clean off patio. Obviously this time of year, there is a lot of extra foliage on the ground (to be expected), just would have been nice to have the resources to do so.

Perfect Winter Getaway!

Our group had a wonderful stay!!! There were 8 of us the group (3 adults, 15yo, 13yo, 11yo, 10yo, and 9 yo) and there was plenty of space!

Great value, couple blocks from downtown

The garage is too small to park in but there is one off-site spot that is a little tight. It is a very short walk to an awesome downtown area.

Overall Nice House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was spacious, clean and organized but not the most relaxing rental we’ve been in. We enjoyed the fireplace, large kitchen and two tables to sit, eat and play games. The location was only a few minutes away from a number of restaurants and a grocery store. The parking spot was tricky for our 4-runner and a sticky gate made it a bit challenging going in and out of the house with our pup. Also be aware that dogs are not allowed in bedrooms or on furniture at all so that made our stay a little less relaxing since our pup usually sleeps with us and keeping the door closed to the main bedroom left it chilly in the winter. I would recommend this house for a family with older kids or two couples since the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are quite separated from the main bedroom which provides for nice privacy.
