Ideal for a two-family ski trip, this completely remodeled condo has been tastefully decorated and offers a prime location to the beach, lakeside pool, casinos, and local bars and restaurants. Heavenly is just a 4-minute drive away. Enjoy access to all Lakeland Village amenities, including private beach, swimming pools, hot tub, and sauna. This home does not have air conditioning.

This home has comfortable sleeping and dining for a family of 8, including children/infants. This applies 24/7.

The home has 2 bedrooms downstairs: the master has a king bed and private bath with Jacuzzi tub, and the second bedroom has 2 queen beds and bath across the hall. Upstairs, the open loft is great for the kids (or adults who got there last) with a twin-over-double bunk that can sleep up to 3 people.

Everything in the kitchen is new, with granite countertops, stainless appliances, and a modern rustic dining table that seats up to 6, plus a bar that seats 4. The beautiful living area has a large rock wall with gas fireplace and comfy sectional sofa. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included.

The grounds of Lakeland Village are incredible. Beautifully landscaped with great amenities!

• Lakeland Village amenities: two pools, including a year-round heated pool and a seasonal lakeside pool, plus a seasonal wading pool, two shared hot tubs, sauna, fitness center, private beach and pier, lakeside fire pits, seasonal BBQs, and boat buoys (first-come, first-served). The lakeside pool and wading pool are open during the summer months only.

Parking passes must be displayed in your vehicle while parked on the property and returned to the home at checkout. If a pass is taken from the property, it must be returned or shipped back within 72 hours (tracking required) or a $250 fee will apply.

Great spot for a ski vacation

Stayed here with my partner for a week in January. Close access to Heavenly, and it had all the amenities we needed to cook and to relax. Would be ideal for multiple couples as well.

Great place great location

Location was 2 minute drive to heavenly ski resort or a 20 minute walk. House was great and clean no complaints there. Also had two hot tubs and beach access. Definitely stay here again.

The condo was just as advertised. It was a great location and fit our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and the set up was great. Just a short walk down to the beach and lake. It was a really nice stay! We would go back!

Guys ski trip

Nice place for a weekend ski getaway. Had to drive to the slopes, but that was expected. Two hot tubs on property, which we definitely used. Plenty of room to hang out. No complaints. Would go there again.

Family vacation

Location is perfect. Seconds to the beach and hot tub. Walking distance to shops, stores and restaurants. The condo was very comfortable for 4 adults. The only complaint is that there is no way to heat downstairs without the upstairs getting uncomfortably hot. But I still give it 5 stars and will definitely stay again!

This is a clean unit in a great location near the beach and close to everything. Unfortunately, no air conditioning was a major drawback in the heat of the summer. The main living area was not livable during the day. Unit needs updating.

Your dates were over a heat wave in Tahoe and unfortunately it was hard to keep ahead of even with our provided fans and cool mountain nights. We will certainly pass along your feedback about the home to the owners for their consideration. Lakeland Village was built in 1973, almost 50 years ago. It is a fabulously unique property, as it is right on the lake, with a beautiful beach, pier, boat buoys, 2 swimming pools, hot tub, firepits, and walking to groceries and dining. There are no other properties like this in South Lake Tahoe, and there will never be another, due to building restrictions around the lake. For future guests to note, the pictures of the unit are updated and accurate. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in beautiful South Lake Tahoe Deborah!

Very good stay with access to the lake

My family of 4, my husband, I and 2 young adult sons spent a very good stay in this apartment, 1 minute walk from Tahoe beach. The unit was nice and the kitchen well equipped. The only weak point is that the description on VRBO overestimates a bit the unit : the remodeling of the unit must not be so recent as described as well as the common areas of the village which need a remodeling (in process in several places) Moreover the large angle of the pictures let think about a larger space especially in the main room. We were confortable with 4 people but 8 would be clearly an issue. Not enough seats around the table and on the sofa.

Awesome

My friend redid the place. Remodel is AWESOME! It’s brand new and really nice… we saw some of the other units on the property and this one is way better. If you go to the casinos late, you’ll have to take a cab back or walk but it’s about 2 miles. We took the shuttle there but I think it stops running at 9 or 10. Can’t wait for ski season!!! He says the shuttle picks you up right near the front door and drops you off at the Cal-Base in a few minutes. We normally stay at Timberlodge and supposedly you can be slope-side from here faster if you go up Gunbarrel than on the Gondola.

Thank you so much for the kind words. The owner and our team at RnR Vacation Rentals love it when people not only have a great time, but they want to come back for more. You are so right about the remodel. The owner basically gutted the home to not only remodel it, but to make it more renter friendly with the addition of a second full bathroom, a larger master suite, plus a reconfigured loft and living room to maximize space in the home. As you pointed out, the free shuttle has varied seasonal operating times. During the peak seasons and holidays you can count on service from early in the morning till late at night. Be sure to ask your driver (and tip them too!)

Outstanding Townhouse in South Lake Tahoe

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is every bit as gorgeous as the pictures. Very nicely update, and our contact Allison was awesome to work with. The only issue we had was temperature control. Because this is bedrooms down at entry level, living room and kitchen upstairs, the thermostat is upstairs and the bedrooms are either too cold or too hot. But that would not prevent me from staying here again as it's beautifully appointed. The kitchen is equipped with all that you need; we cooked all breakfasts here and really saved some money.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time. Great location and very well kept home. Only a few cleanliness issues. We found a few cockroaches throughout our stay, 1 of which was in the bed in the loft. Also in the loft, my wife put her head down on the pillow and felt something inside the pillow case. We found candy wrappers, a tooth brush, and a pair of women's underwear INSIDE the pillow case which was a bit disturbing. Besides that the place was great and no other issues at all.

We asked the management of Lakeland Village (this is a townhome with connected units) and they too have not had a single notice of a cockroach. They believe it might have been another type of bug that possibly flew in. Tahoe does get some interesting looking beetles from time to time but it is unusual to see them inside. Regardless, rest assured we are treating the home to make sure it is not an issue. We are so sorry for your wife's surprise with the pillow contents. We continue to be amazed with the belongings previous guest leaves behind (and where we find them). It appears our guest in the home prior to you left some personal belongings in the "decorative" pillow that was left on the bed (the pillow covered with a sham). This was obviously missed by our cleaners and we have changed our inspection routine to include checking all pillows for "leftovers".

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time. Great location and very well kept home. Only a few cleanliness issues. We found a few cockroaches throughout our stay, 1 of which was in the bed in the loft. Also in the loft, my wife put her head down on the pillow and felt something inside the pillow case. We found candy wrappers, a tooth brush, and a pair of women's underwear INSIDE the pillow case which was a bit disturbing. Besides that the place was great and no other issues at all.

Thank you for the nice review. We are pleased you enjoyed yourself and hopefully we will see you next year! We were shocked, confused, and worried about the mention of cockroaches! In Tahoe? We have not had a single problem in any of our 20 homes in 5 years. Amazing Location - but no air conditioning

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was amazing. Close to so many restaurants and fun things to do on the south shore, as well as the beach access make it hard to beat! Having no air conditioning at the end of July was tough though. Coming back to the condo after a fun day of playing in the sun to 84 degrees at 8 pm was not ideal! Also both toilets would flush maybe 50% of the time. Super finnicky. One bathroom sink would take forever to drain and the master bath had trouble draining too. The place is old, but the location is hard to beat.

Air conditioning is certainly a rare find in Tahoe, which is why we provide portable fans in every bedroom. For future guests, we always recommend leaving the blinds closed during the day, then opening the windows in the evening to let in the brisk mountain air. We’ve addressed the toilets and sinks to ensure they function properly. Your input is invaluable, and we hope you enjoyed your time in beautiful South Lake Tahoe Eric!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We're avid travelers and also a very clean family. We'll pay a little more for a nice clean place and we appreciate updated design and furnishings. We thought even though this place was at least 30% more than everywhere else we looked, it would be worth it. It was not. It was filthy when we arrived. There were carpet stains on the steps in the entrance of the space. The master bath had a horrible mildew smell, and the patio was filthy and we couldn't even enjoy it or BBQ there. We ate out for almost every meal with the exception of bagels and fruit. The place so hot the and the windows don't work so you can't open them. They also force you to purchase their 'insurance' services just in case there are damages. We left the condo in pristine condition and even went to the effort of stripping all the bedding off the beds out of respect to the cleaners, since that's what our family does. We did NOT damage anything while we were there. Several days after our stay, we were contacted by the property management group with an email requesting us to sign a claim form for a damaged mattress, (which was a torn mattress cover that we didn't tear), carpet stains (which were not from us and were in abunbdance when we arrived), and missing towels (which is the biggest joke because we didn't have enough towels and had to go to the front desk to request more so there were at least 10 additional towels, plus hand towels and washcloths). It sounds like extortion to me. As I mentioned, we're a very clean, responsible family and we were hardly in the condo. We certainly weren't there long enough to cause any damage or create the stains they claim we did. I wonder if other travelers staying here or anywhere with R&R Property Management have experienced these same type of ludacris allogations. I would never stay here again let alone recommend it to someone else. I would also never stay anywhere managed by R&R.

We feel terrible that Ginger had such a disappointing stay with us. Guest satisfaction is our top priority. While we respectfully disagree with Ginger’s assessment of the home, our future guests can rest assured that any and all feedback is addressed promptly to maintain the highest quality of standards.
