The host was great. Good communication! Cabin was perfect size for 9 people. Large kitchen. We didn’t use the spa but it was nice to have the option. The location was 5-10 mins from the slopes and village. 3 mins from the zoo.

This cabin is ideal for a weekend getaway. It has a great wood burning fireplace, a cozy living room, and an extra downstairs game room. Everything was in good working condition. The kitchen is a good size and functional. Definitely recommend.

This cabin was perfect for my family of four. We were looking for something that truly embraced the cabin feel and this home did not disappoint. The game room was perfect to provide the extra space. Heaters work great and hot tub was a bonus. I also love that it’s a couple miles from the village so we got to experience the whole town. Can’t wait to go back!

Grandkids loved the game room. The cabin environment was great and well appointed. The jacuzzi was great and worked well, Did need chlorine I believe (odor). The door leading to the back deck would not open at times, door knob needs work. Taking own trash to collection site is a nuisance, Had to wait in line and Big Bear traffic can be aggravating. Really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend Bear Hug cabin.

The cabin was very cozy and the location was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Shirley and Linda provided great information ahead of time and were excellent communicators throughout and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Dirty and Disgusting

Upon arrival the property looked nice at first glance . Untill we went to go to bed the comforters were covered in pet hair theres were burn marks on blankets "white stains" on pillows . Brown smear marks on blankets crusty stains . Tissues stuck in the cracks of walls. There was even bugs crawling across one of the beds . Spider webs across ceiling in stairway leading to game room . And when i tried to reach out to the property manager linda she said she is not the property manager and i need to contact the owner. I tried to reach her but she never responded. The only option i was given was to have a cleaner come the next day to clean , and if i didnt like that option there is a hotel down the street they should have vacancy. My family ended up sleeping on the couch and recliner the first night . The cleaners didn't end up bringing new blankets and sheets untill 245 pm the next day and they didnt even clean the house as i requested. And then even after they supposedly cleaned and changed our linen there was a beer bottle cap in my son's bed roll . I tried to reach out for some sort of compensation but ive been ignored . I would not book this place .

Cozy Family Cabin

We spent an amazing weekend here! Kids loved it so much they would've rather stayed in the cabin! Enough space for us all including our dog. Close to all the fun activities to enjoy here in Big Bear!

Fabulous Family Home

Delightful home base to explore Big Bear! Home is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood and walking distance to zoo. Our kids loved the game room and chess board. The kitchen is large and well stocked with everything you need to make family meals. The hot tub was wonderful in the cool evenings to relax after our busy days. We would stay here again!

Great cabin and location!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin has a perfect layout for our family. We had a couple of minor glitches when we arrived, however, the host corrected them immeidately. We would stay again if we visited Big Bear Lake again. Loved our stay!

Cozy and cute

This property is just perfect. We love the Moonridge neighborhood, and had a nice time riding our e-bikes around. The cabin is adorable and comfortable. I love all the little bears everywhere. It’s decorated so cute. The deck under the trees is lovely to sit and relax. ❤️

Our family had a great time at the cabin! Lots of space for the eight of us, and it was very cozy! Very cute decor and fun game room on the bottom floor. We were close to the zoo, shops, lake and the village. Was a perfect place for our mini vacation!

Cozy Fun Cabin

Stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute. The house was clean and comfortable. The basement game room was great. The kitchen had everything you need and the grill was perfect for our dinners. We walked to the zoo and its just a few minutes ride to the village. Highly recommend!

Bear Hug Cabin

The house was cozy yet large enough accommodate or family of 8. Kids loved the bunk beds and Grandma and Grandpa got to sleep downstairs! The owners and property manager were easy to communicate with and check in and out was a breeze. Would highly recommend!

Big Bear getaway

We had a great time, loved the layout of the cabin. Lots of room, great downstairs game room. Kitchen was well supplied with the cooking appliances and pans etc that we need. We really enjoyed staying in this cabin. Location to Bear Mountain to ski is fabulous! 3 levels gave everyone plenty of space to spread out and have fun !

Perfect getaway

We had a fantastic weekend at this cabin. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The downstairs game room was so fun for my kids. The rooms had plenty of blankets and space heaters. The kitchen was easy to cook in and had everything we needed.
