Hello! My husband & I have been updating my childhood home into a fun, quirky, immersive & comfortable environment!

Off of 1-90, close to local bars & restaurants, Walgreens, McDonald's, Starbucks & a midwest fav; Kwik Trip. 10 minute drive to La Crosse Center, UWL and Downtown La Crosse.

Dog & kid friendly! Toddler bed for either your toddler or dog. Kid & dog toys. Pack & Play. Books & Magazines. Reading Nook. Activities. Dog Treats & Bowls. FULL FENCED IN YARD

We also decorate for all holidays

Boat and driveway parking available.

*We charge a $30 pet fee, please add your pet to your reservation, we also do not allow dogs that are not housetrained. If you are unsure how your dog will do in an unfamiliar place, please bring a kennel or we have them to rent for $10 per stay. We charge $100 for any dog that soils on rugs.*

Cute place, 70’s retro vibe was unique. Great location for exploring La Crosse. Fenced back yard worked great for our dog. Great stay.

The decor in this place was really cool! It had everything we needed for our stay. We really appreciate that it was dog, friendly and kid friendly. The host were amazing. We will definitely be back!

This place has so much personality and charm! We loved our stay, so many fun little details to enjoy. Very easily accessible to the downtown area, which made our experience very smooth. We'd love to stay there again the next time we're in La Crosse.

The property was decorated in 70's decor with music artists from that era which was fun. Super clean house and quiet area with all needed asessories!Nice fenced in yard which was perfect for our adventurous dog. The gazebo was an added plus and a great place to relax at the end of day!Overall great experience and we would definitely rent again!

Great property a short drive from downtown and campus, convenient to the highway. Lots of fun decor and a beautiful screened-in gazebo in the back yard. The neighborhood is nice, quiet, and safe. It was the perfect place for our graduation weekend stay! The only downsides were - broken dishwasher, broken water/ice dispenser in the fridge, and an unadjustable shower head. That being said, those were fairly minor things which did not affect the quality of our stay. This is a great place and we really renting it.

Could have used steak knives, towel racks in bathroom, bars in bathtub. Clear instructions For television sets. Bedside table lamp in train room. Screen house could have been cleaned. But all in all nothing major.

Hi Cindy! We have a towel rack behind the door in the bathroom, steak knives in the wooden block on the counter, we do have a bedside lamp in the train room (although the switch is not apparent because it's a novelty) and the gizebo had not yet been cleaned for summer. We've never had anyone need directions for the TV but maybe we'll had some. We may also add a shower bar even though we are not handicapped accessible. I always leave a hand written note letting guests know to reach out with any questions or if they need anything and we didn't hear from you at all. We also let you check in early with no advance notice and without charging you an early check in fee. 🌼🌿

We had a great stay,property was quiet,clean,comfortable, well appointed hosts were welcoming and responsive. Our grandkids visited and enjoyed the retro artifacts.

My husband and I got married in June 2023, 2 days before my mom passed away. Being an only child, and having my dad passing away 13 years earlier, I was left my childhood home. I didn't have the heart to part with it, so we put a lot of work in the home to turn it into a VRBO.

We have 2 kids (4 & 8) and 4 dogs. We live right across the river in Minnesota and enjoy traveling, geocaching and seeing oddities. Spencer enjoys fishing, especially ice fishing.

It's my childhood home. :) The yard is a work in progress but we will be refurbishing the gazebo in the back, building a butterfly garden and placing a geocache in the back.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Each room is specially curated to my moms, dads and my family interests. The master bedroom is a rock and roll theme; my mom and I went to a lot of concerts! The spare bedroom is a railroad theme; my dad worked for Candian Pacific Railway. I have spent a lot of time on the details and my heart has been poured into this project.
