We greatly enjoyed the property. The house was comfortably laid out, outstanding views of the mountains from the porch, and excellently located in terms of access to Taos and surrounding areas of interest.

A full service home with all the amenities, thoughtfully decorated, and in an easily accessible yet private location. We really enjoyed watching the sunsets from the front deck each evening which was so peaceful and relaxing. Comfortable bed and great sleeping weather! The only suggestion we have is to consider a small a.c. unit for afternoons when it gets warmer than usual - or plan on going into town and sightseeing!

This home was located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood at the end of a street. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need for your stay. The drive to Taos was quick and easy. I gave it a 4 on cleanliness as the dusty bunnies we present and the laundry room was very dusty but not so bad I wouldn't stay again.

We love this home! Owner and caretaker are very responsive. Views are amazing and the neighborhood is lovely. Very clean and comfortable home with a great fireplace. Kitchen is well equipped. Love the location.

The location is good, away from the hectic Taos city center, with a nice view. The neighbors, who look after the property, are available right next door and are very nice. The house is fully provisioned (except for the cheapest toilet tissue imaginable). The unpaved, private road leading up to the house is in pretty good shape. However, the unpaved country road leading into the neighborhood is in horrible shape -- we have a Subaru Forester Wilderness Model, and we feared for the car. The house is close to the highway -- But you can only hear the highway noise when you sit outside or have the windows/doors open. Overall, the house is laid out nicely, but in very old condition -- it needs a complete facelift. The TV is rigged up to a Roku adapter with lots of wires -- really need a real Roku TV, that's bigger. There is one ceiling fan in the house, but there are several floor fans available. When are folks in New Mexico going to admit that it does indeed get hot there -- time to get real AC!

Family Ski Vacation

This house had everything we needed to enjoy a week long ski vacation in Taos. The location is perfect and you can’t beat the view of the mountains.

wonderful view

What a fabulous view of the mountains. The location is central and the house perfect for our needs. Definitely where we would want to stay next time we are feeling the need for Taos.

Lodging does have a spectacular view of the mountains, as advertised, and is in a verdant, nicely settled neighborhood alive with the sound of bird calls. Magical during the monsoons! The home has that great Taos adobe construction with pleasing accoutrements, pleasant even in hot July. A lovely stay.

Great casa great stay

Great casa and great stay. Very nicely arranged decor and the compact fireplace was a pleasant bonus. 0rderly and clean but for somewebs in ofd corners.

Great location n comfort

This place was the perfect location to the ski resort (Taos). Easy quick drive to town. The house was in a cute neighborhood with great friendly neighbors who gave us some good advice for things to do. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. Would stay here again for sure.

Great rural neighborhood, great for walking. The house had plenty of room for the 2 of us and we really enjoyed our 4 days. Some deferred maintenance should be addressed, especially the water pressure, but good enough that we would go back.

AWESOME VACATION HOME

We could not have been happier with our stay. Property was clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was stocked with the basic necessities. Property manager was great at checking in, and readily available. The mountain views were spectacular. We are already looking forward to a return stay!

Good value. Strengths were the view of the mountains, and the El Prado location near Arroyo Seco.

Beautiful

We have stayed at this property many times. We love the neighborhood and the views. The communication with property owner and caretaker was outstanding. House was comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies. Love it!
