This wonderful, new home is close to everything Taos has to offer, yet is also a cozy getaway spot. Enjoy views of Taos Mountain during your afternoon happy hour on your private patio. An open and spacious living room, dining room and kitchen is the perfect vacation home for your family or group of friends. The two bedrooms and sofa-bed sleep up to seven.

Located just over a mile from the downtown plaza, a few miles from the golf course and Taos Pueblo and 25 minutes to the ski valley, this great location puts everything you want to do nearby. Or curl up with a good book in front of the fire.

The fully equipped kitchen and BBQ on the patio will meet your cooking needs, if you decide to cook.

Magical Home

I love everything about this place! The sun envelops the whole home with a glow that you can feel. It’s sparkling clean and so well done. This was my second stay but I plan to come again next year. I can’t imagine a better stay anywhere else.

Awesome private place!

Barbara has a very clean and awesome place. Close to local places to eat n drink. Loved the cool breeze on back door patio. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here during a visit to Taos and it was excellent. Close to the Plaza, the sites, and other tourist destinations. Very clean, cozy, and well appointed. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay at Taos

We had a amazing stay at this property in Taos. Beautiful house, nicely decorated with all the necessary amenities. Very spacious with very comfortable beds and amazing views!! We would recommend this house to anyone wanted to stay in Taos and we will definitely stay there again.

We were hoping to be a bit closer to town but found our location to be very convenient to driving everywhere. The home is very beautiful and very well appointed. We were extremely comfortable.

Charming hacienda

We are 4 friends who spent a week in this charming hacienda. It is well stocked with plenty of linens. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The listing has the hacienda about a mile from the plaza, but it is much more than a mile, but quite drivable.

Taos Vacation

We are request travelers to the Taos/Sante Fe region, I have to say this years trip far exceeded our expectations. The Casita is truly a home away from home! It is sparkling clean, delightfully decorated and everything you could possibly need is provided. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this home truly is. We hope to return next year. It was perfect in every way!

Our Great Ski Vacation

This home was clean, warm, easy to find and to park our car. It had all the amenities you typically need (coffee, TV, washer/dryer, etc.) and it was just off Hwy 68 in a small neighborhood. The wide open views were fantastic, especially at sunrise and sunset. The homeowner was easy to contact and responded quickly to the few questions we had. I highly recommend this spot for a great ski vacation experience!

Beautiful and Serene!!!

What a beautiful home! My mother is a Taos native and is wheelchair bound and this home was a perfect place for us and for her to especially feel at home. She said that if she still had her house in Taos this was exactly how she would have had it decorated! We felt as if we were at home. My children loved playing outside and the decor is just gorgeous. I loved that fact that anything you needed was at the home; especially the dishwasher! I dont have a dishwasher at home but I sure did enjoy this one. I loved that it was about 10/15 minutes (depending on traffic) to the plaza and the same distance to all my relatives who live there. Definitely going to use the home in the future again as well as Home Away! I dont think I will ever stay at a hotel again! Thank you Barbara for sharing your beautiful home.

This is a darling casita, decorated beautifully, located in a very quiet and convenient location. The views of the mountains were spectacular. Communication with the owner and property manager was excellent.

We were disappointed that we could not use the patio more. There was table but no chairs and no grill. We normally use a grill quite a bit. In addition, we did not have much luck with the TV service - very hard for us to understand. We were also disappointed that the bedrooms did not have TV’s.

Charming Taos Home

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Taos. The house was absolutely beautiful and conveniently located to all of our destinations. It was quiet and private, spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely Southwest vibe. I would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home in Taos.
