Excellent location with ample parking (a real bonus in Bar Harbor). Very responsive property manager. Quaint, quirky, classic New England property .

Great property in an amazing location. It's an old house, with all the charm you'd expect. It has plenty of space for a group of 8 adults and 2 kids to spread out, with plenty of room for everyone in the living room and several other communal spaces for when you need your own space. The host was thorough and responded quickly when we had questions. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was our second vacation at La maisonette and it was just as wonderful as the first time we stayed there! Everything is perfect! The house and grounds are beautiful. The location is ideal. It is the perfect getaway for a family vacation of multiple ages!. We are hoping to return next summer and I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful vacation home that is so wonderfully maintained and up-kept and appointed! . And it’s in the most fabulous location possible for our family. All 11 members of our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation there!!

The house was big and clean. There are two kitchens, one of them quite large and included a dishwasher. There is/are a dining room, a living room, several bathrooms and bedrooms. The host was accessible pre-checkin via messaging over the website. The property manager was available and responsive. There were plenty of spices supplied. The drain in the kitchen sink clogged but was fixed. Location is excellent. Driveway accommodated four cars.

Great large house - comfortable beds large kitchen space - walkable to town - water views - for not use outdoor space- but great house for fun weekend of hiking and touring Bar Harbor!

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at La Maisonette. The house is lovely, spacious, well appointed and extremely comfortable and has everything needed for a large family vacation. I highly recommend this beautiful property. It made our family vacation so very memorable.

The house was perfect for our family trip to Maine! Everything was clean and comfortable. We were close to restaurants, shops, Acadia National Park and so many activities. The kids loved playing in the backyard too. A perfect stay!

The location is outstanding. Family members enjoyed short walks to shopping and dining areas. It was convenient to catch shuttles to Acadia Park. We all enjoyed the nearby land bridge several times. A great house for our 10 family members. The front porch was enjoyed mornings and evenings.

Great for Multiple Family Event in Bar Harbor

Excellent location and spacious historic house for multiple famlies to stay. Well-supplied kitchen for large group meals. Parking in the driveway for three large vehicles was wonderful since street parking and traffic is so busy in Bar Harbor. Our host made sure we enjoyed a quality experience.

Great location

This house was nice and large for an extended family. The porch was a great place to hang out in the morning and there was plenty of space for the kids to keep busy and have fun.

The house was fabulous, with lots of space and historic charm. It is on a beautiful street in downtown Bar Harbor and you can even see the water from the front porch! It was easy to walk down to the restaurants and shops, and a short drive to Acadia. The hosts were responsive. Definitely recommend La Maisonette!

Great location. Lotta of room and charm. Make sure to understand no air conditioning - which on most days makes no difference. Would happily stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here and the location was great! Lovely porch to hang out on in mornings and evenings. Great kitchen. We bikied into Acadia from our house with our kids, very close to the carriage Trails. We would stay here again!

Incredible, spacious, and comfortable stay

This house is ideally located, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Not one but two kitchens, an expansive living space, and ample beds for all. The bathrooms are a bit cramped but that is where I have to admit I'm nitpicking because it's a gorgeous, and gorgeously kept, house. Highly recommended for large groups.

Great Old House

We loved our stay. Perfect location. Grand old house with its quirks but this comes with an old house. We thought it was relatively clean, comfortable, and nice. We would stay there again. If you are looking for a pristine, modern, upscale type of place this is not it but if you can appreciate this old house you will love your stay.

Wonderful Week in a perfect location

Our family of 12 (ages 66 - 2) enjoyed our stay. Perfect location! Short drive to Acadia NP. Walking distance to Bar Harbor restaurants, sand bar, shopping and grocery store. Never needed to deal with parking! House is old, but we knew that when we booked it. Wonderful week.
