Good location, needs more air conditioning

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is 1 mi from the pier. You can get to the beach by walking straight downhill on a beach ride of way. Air conditionern is are sub-optimal. There is only one window air conditioner and Kona can be very hot.

We had a great stay! The grounds are beautiful and so was the apartment. Only 1 ac unit in the house which we were not used to. But we had fans and it all worked out great. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was as portrayed in the listing. This unit is lovely and centrally located near Alii beach and all that comes with that area. Communication with the leasing company was great and the unit is clean and comfortable.

We had a great stay with you at Kona Mansions. The place was as described on the website, it was well stocked with what is needed and a comfortable condo. It is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants.

Lovely stay

Kona mansions was a great location, close to town and the beaches. Very walkable to some great sites with a nice nightlife. We were able to do other fun tours and it was just centrally located for hikes and seeing the national park. The condo itself was very comfortable and we used many appliances in the kitchen.

The place is in an excellent location, almost close to the central Kona area but just far enough from the noise. There were extra towels, beach gear provided along with laundry pods (this was a bonus to have washer / dryer in unit). It could’ve been better to have some body wash provided too, not just shampoo.

Kona on the Mansion

It is a beautiful place. We won't get tired going back and forth. We loved where we stay so closed to downtown walking thru beaches.

Amazing!

This property was perfect for our stay! Air conditioning was very useful. The beach equipment was also very convenient. Washer/dryer… located just a 5 min walk from the heart of town. Loved our stay.

Everything for a great vacation

Stayed here with my family of 5 and one 15 mos. baby and had a great time. The locations is great and enjoyed the ground floor. The condo had all the things we needed for the beach.

Between 2 and 5 guests at varying times--borrowed a cooler and some masks from the unit. Very comfortable, nice lanai.

Perfect Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an absolutely wonderful stay here for our anniversary! The location couldn’t have been better—centrally located, within easy walking distance of charming shops, great restaurants, beaches, and the waterfront, while still being just a quick drive to Target, Safeway, and anything else we needed.The condo was spotless, comfortable, and exceptionally well stocked. It truly had everything we could have needed, from a fully equipped kitchen for breakfast each morning to beach gear for our island adventures. We especially appreciated having beach chairs available, which made exploring different beaches so much easier.The beds were very comfortable, and we even turned one evening into a fun movie night by pulling out the sofa bed in the living room. It ended up being one of our favorite memories of the trip!The highlight for me, though, was enjoying my morning coffee on the lanai. Overlooking the beautiful banyan tree and tropical flowers while listening to the island wake up was such a peaceful way to start each day.If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-equipped place in an excellent location, we highly recommend staying here. We would absolutely love to return someday. Mahalo for helping make our anniversary trip so memorable!

Well Appointed Guest House

This place checked many boxes. The two full bathrooms and private lanai made it feel luxurious for our family of 4. The grounds were beautifully maintained with lots of plants and the showers had good water pressure. The kitchen had a very good selection of cookware and dishes. Walking distance to the Kailua-Kona waterfront made it a very convenient base for our adventures. Thanks for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Convenient and Cute

Convenient and close to Kona. Well stocked with linens and cookware and beach extras (cooler, chairs). Really cute ground floor unit. Seems super clean—floors, beds, bathrooms. This would have been a perfect review if the bedroom with the washer and dryer in it did not have such a strong mold smell.
