Corolla stay

Overall we had a good time. The pool/hot tub area was wonderful and the proximity to the beach was unmatched. We took a grass trail to the beach access which was about 1/3 mile (or 5 minute walk max). The house itself was beautifully decorated however it does need updating and repair. A lot of the amenities were tired and need attention or replacing. The one thing that renters really need to know that’s not explained well in the listing is that the three floors are connected by a central spiral stair case. This in theory is very neat, however lugging groceries up them or having children navigate them (especially in the middle of the night) was hard.

Check-in was easy and effortless. The location was great and close to shopping and attractions. We really enjoyed the wrap around porches and grill out area. The home was pretty clean. The hall bathtub downstairs was clogged up and would not drain with the first shower. I had to remove hair and trash before it would drain properly. The internet worked the first day, but out of service the remainder of our stay (Sun-Sun). I reported the issues multiple times after trying to trouble shoot the issue ourselves. Nothing was done. The freezer made a decent amount of ice the first day, however, after that it only made about 2 cups of ice a day. Additionally, it wasn't freezing properly as items such as ice pops never fully froze the entire week. That was reported 3-4 times and nothing was done about it. The pool and hot tub were great for the first 3-4 days. In the contract, it was stated the pool/hot tub would be serviced mid-week, but that never happened either. I contacted Seaside Vacations about that issue as well. The hot tub began turning green Wednesday/Thursday. I am so aggravated mostly because after speaking to customer service several times and they promised to address it, but nothing ever happened. I have asked to be reimbursed for partial payment. In good conscience I cannot recommend this place.
