Everything was outstanding. The casita has absolutely everything a traveller needs, the backyard garden with multiple sitting areas was an oasis and the hosts were amazing.

The casita and grounds were impeccable! We had everything we needed. The yard was beautifully maintained and we enjoyed spending time outside just as much as we did exploring the surrounding area. The views were incredible and the proximity to the mountains was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. Thank you Dave and Ro!

We were so delighted and impressed when we drove up to the casita by the landscaping and beautiful yard. Even more so when we opened the door. The colors an design of the interior were gorgeous and everything was so meticulously clean. We would highly recommend staying in Dave and RoseMarie’s casita. They were very helpful with recommendations and advice. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Great stay at the Very, Very Fine House! Hosts were great and the yard was amazing! Lots of hiking nearby and great birds in the backyard. House is extremely well-maintained and the furnishings were great! Dave and Ro are awesome hosts!

I have stayed here several times and continue to enjoy everything about it. The owners are friendly but not intrusive. I enjoy the several seating areas in the huge landscaped yard. Interior comfortable and nicely decorated in regional theme. Stocked with everything you could need.

Garden is a desert oasis. Great to walk around for a quiet stroll. This is our third visit and still as good as the first time we discovered this gem.

Our stay was wonderful. Amazing birds in the back yard visited us throughout the day, including woodpeckers, verdin, and quail. The property is well laid out with veranda and pergola sitting areas, and swings that overlook various parts of the property including the neighbor's horse pasture. We walked the nearby trail to the hillside loop.There are plenty of really good local eateries, and there are many family activities within an hour or two including National Parks, historic mines (Bisby a must see), and mountain trails and parks that are 30 degrees cooler than the desert. Dave gave us really good suggestions for things to see and do, and we loved our time there.

If the host had not completely insulted us with her assessment of our situation, the stay would have been lovely. My partner had to spend an evening in the ER so we asked for a few extra hours to check out. After saying that it was okay, Ro became irritated with us for relaxing when we "could have checked out at 10:00". We had asked for the extra time specifically so that we could relax and that is what we did. Unfortunately, our host judged how we were spending our time and snapped at me, in front of our family that had stopped in to check on the patient, and really put a bad feeling on the end of our trip. Other than that, the spot was lovely.

This was our favorite place to stay. It was super clean and spacious. We felt very “at home” in the space and slept well. We will make this our “go to” when in Tucson.

Everything about the casita was perfect. In fact, we thought it was even better in person than in pictures. The casita has everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. We loved being able to cook and relax in the evening. The bed was so comfortable. The back yard was lovely, and next time we’ll take advantage of the outdoor seating and hot tub. Every detail is thoughtful and beautifully made. I think we found our new go to “spot” in Tucson.

Growing up in Tucson, I return almost every year. This unique property was absolutely the best. The location was wonderful…away from the congestion of the city yet close to shopping. The property was adjacent to a rural area where horses grazed and a stream flowed. The house was more than just a “very fine house”. It was tastefully decorated, super clean and comfortable. The property was large and perfectly landscaped with a desert motif. There were several seating areas and a roof deck to enjoy the Mountain View and starry nights! The lap pool and spa were refreshing and sparking clean. Ro and Dave were super gracious hosts and have put their heart and soul into their oasis. I definitely recommend and plan to return!
