Great vacation! The property is in a perfect "old town" location, easy walk to everything and on the water with park views. Ginny was very professional, accommodating and friendly.Kitchen is well stocked, beds are extremely comfortable (which is very important to us). Can't go wrong with this one.Highly recommend.

The property served our needs very well! It was walking distance to Old Towne restaurants and Torpedo Factory. The house was nicely decorated had wonderful views of the Potomac! We really appreciate the time and hosts were great!!

Magnificent! We were visiting the greater DC area to work on a history project for my 4th grade son. Perfect proximity to points south (Mt Vernon) and points north (DC proper). Home was beautifully appointed while also comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend!

Good 'bones' of a property in an easily accessible location. Lacks attention to detail (incomplete cutlery, two broken bed frames, tempestuous refrig that doesn't shut properly, not enough toiletries for the length of time we stayed, outdoor seats not cleaned so unusable, no instructions on TV so could not use - or garage so had to go through house to close it) although the latter could all be rectified. Parking is easy but garage is narrow. Founders Park across street is lovely during the week but loud and obnoxious (speakers blaring, hot rods zooming up and down) on weekends. Easy walk to shops and restaurants.

We had a fabulous stay! The interior was beautifully designed, spacious, and very comfortable. The linens were top-notch, adding an extra touch of luxury. The location and parking were unbeatable—so convenient! Communication with the host was excellent and made everything seamless. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Trip!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was in the perfect location with so many things to walk to and just a short ride into the heart of DC. Our family had great game nights on the back patio, and the amenities were top notch. Highly recommend!

Great for small group

We love to come and stay at this home away from home for our team meetings once a quarter. Beats a hotel any day! Location is perfect. Fits 5 people with their own rooms perfectly. Ginny is a very responsive host!

This was a perfect pied-à-terre for our daughter's wedding. Though we live in Alexandria, we wanted the newlyweds to have a memorable weekend preparing for and celebrating their nuptials. We chose this townhome for its riverfront location, proximity to the fun of Old Town, and its positioning within a peaceful corner of the city. We opted out of a hotel stay because walking through lobbies and dealing with elevators wasn't in our vision. The home's top floor has a wonderful picture window, and the park in front offers water views we had planned to use for photographs. The home was an asset to the weekend. Everything was bright and cheery inside, adding warmth and a glow we weren't getting outside due to an unseasonably cold and rainy weekend. The owner was quick to respond and help us resolve issues with access and the heating system. She even helped us retrieve items the forgetful bride left behind. Being on the waterfront and on the north corner of Founder's Park, the home is exceptionally quiet and peaceful. This quality is very (very!) hard to find in Old Town.I recommend this property, 100%, to anyone looking for a lovely stay in Alexandria. You are steps from the water, a short distance to King Street (restaurants and popular sites), and a short walk up to the Washington Street area. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to rent this property again for a future bride or even family coming to town. It's a diamond in Old Town.

Great property/responsive host

Property is as advertised. Lots of nice little touches w coffees, toiletries, etc. garage parking your second car a big bonus for families who meet up to get together. Great long holiday weekend for us.

The property was clean and bright in a great location. Everyone has a wonderful weekend. There is construction going on across the street but that was not an issue as they did not seem to be doing much on the weekend. There was plenty of street parking, and three dedicated parking space.

Memory lane trip

We loved the time staying in our old neighborhood, which we left 5 years ago. Old Towne is such a special place and being in our same neighborhood in a wonderful house made it all the better.

Great location, beautiful home!

My co-workers and I stayed there in lieu of a hotel and it was lovely, convenient and well-appointed. We all loved it and would love to stay again when we come back in April for our Spring meeting. Host was wonderful and responsive. We had a little glitch with the code getting in but it was resolved right away.

I wish we could give 10 stars in lieu of 5. This property is beautifully decorated inside and out! We loved the surrounding historical area. We were within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The dog park across the street is an extra bonus since we brought our dog. In summary, this is one of the very best properties in Old Towne Alexandria VA.
