Dagmawi was a very responsive host. The property is a short walk to the heart of Old Town. Our stay couldn't have been better - I'd give six stars if I could.

This was a very convenient location… it’s close to the Metro with a nearby walking path that takes you straight to it, which made it easy to explore all things DC. It was also a close walk to old town Alexandria which if full of cute shops and dining. The host was very friendly and easy to work with. The property was clean and well stocked with the things we needed!

Clean, comfortable house with nice appliances for cooking. Host was responsive when we had questions. Walkable to metro and old town. Would highly recommend!

The host was very responsive which was helpful. But the AC was only on the main floor. The bedrooms were hot and only had ceiling fans. In the bedroom with the bunk bed the ceiling fan was dangerous, especially with a kid on the top bunk. The location was incredibly convenient! Parking was easy. The carpets were pretty dirty and had hairballs, the walls were very scuffed and dirty, and there were dead bugs and dirt on the floor in the basement. We also found the bathrooms difficult as the vanities had nowhere to put things. It was fine for two nights.

There's actually no true yard in the property and overall, I believe the way it's advertised is exaggerated compared to the quality of the property in terms of design, bed furnishing, supplies upon arrival like towels and others. The plumbing and the shower are less than satisfactory. We have stayed in other properties in Alexandria, and unfortunately, this was not similar to the standards. The host was responsive, but that does not change the above facts.

Beautiful home. Convenient to dc and old town Alexandria. Close walk to metro. Thoughtful touches in the home. Responsive host. Only desire was more bath towels. Thanks for letting us stay

Our family had a wonderful stay at this Alexandria home during our vacation to visit our son and explore Washington DC. We traveled with six family members, including two seniors and two younger travelers, and the house was absolutely perfect for our group. The location couldn’t have been better. We loved being so close to Old Town Alexandria, with its charming shops, restaurants, and historic atmosphere. It was an ideal home base for visiting the many sights and attractions throughout Washington DC. The home was comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What truly stood out was exceptional hospitality of our host. He was always available, quick to respond, and eager to help with any questions or needs that arose during our visit. This property played a big part in making our family vacation so memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in the Alexandria area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your VRBO home during our Washington DC Leadership Experience. The property was immaculately maintained and thoughtfully prepared for our needs. It was also well situated in a quiet neighborhood, yet conveniently close to stores and restaurants. Everything we required for a smooth, comfortable, and safe stay was provided, including the necessary amenities to support both relaxation and everyday convenience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.
