The location is AMAZING! House had everything we needed, a little clunky at check-in but afterward it was a perfect stay. Would absolutely recommend.

Walk to the beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great. 300’ to the beach and a short walk to town. Beds were comfortable. House was clean. Could have used some better pots and pans and a nicer grill. Great to have laundry on site. Overall we like our stay and would rent here again.

Nails coming out of back deck a step is needed coming out sliding glass door right now its at least a 12 in drop somebody will get hurt steps need to be power wash when raining very slimey and slippery new door would look better to upon entry it is not impressive its rather dirty and ugly however the family had a good time

Great location!

Great location and clean. The positives were: well stocked ktichen, short walk to the beach, great neighborhood, outside shower room and outside seating. Many other things about the house we loved even though it is a bit out-dated and outside needs a little love. Good news is that the plusses out weighed any negatives!

Good for what it is

No complaints about the house, mostly the check in process after hours could have been better. I’ve seen reviews about how this is not close to the beach, there’s one house next to this, a cross street then a short walk to the sand. About as close as you can get without ocean front property.

TLC

Pulling up to home first thing you notice is tape on the three windows, missing trim. A few lightbulbs are out, specifically the one lighting up the stairs in & out of main door. Looks like no one ever cleans behind beds. I had up use outlet behind bed and it had not be cleaned back there. Two tables on deck are rusted and one is falling apart. The worst though was in bathroom. Looks like someone used toilet brush to clean toilet, but didn’t clean brush off very well before the put it back in brush holder. There was evidence of this on the outside top of toilet brush holder. Mostly someone paying attention to details could fix easily. It seems like this place is just neglected a bit. The interior of home is pretty nice, cleaning crew needs to do better. Really just needs TLC, power washing, fix trim on front windows, get rid of old deck furniture. Location is extremely great!! Tons of potential there, just needs some care.

Jason: Thank you for your comments. I have spoken with the housekeeping department on the cleaning issues. Unfortunately one of the owners of the home was very ill and has since passed. Due to this many of the items that you mentioned did not get fixed before last season. They are working very hard on fixing the windows, decks and other areas for the 2024 season. Hope you will give us another shot in 2024.

great beach week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was as described, clean and well maintained. Proximity to the beach is the best part, and the beach was beautiful. Kitchen has what you need for most meals. We rented bikes (Ocean Atlantic) that were conveniently dropped off and picked up for us. Outdoor shower and hose is a great feature and kept sand out of the house. Neighborhood is very quiet. I would definitely come again.

Kitchen table area will be a little tight for a larger family. Been returning for several years. Bed mattresses got a *welcomed*/needed update a year or so ago. I HIGHLY recommend this cottage.

Loved almost everything

We loved so much about this house, but we wouldn't go back unless they upgraded the mattresses.

300 foot to beach

Was dissatisfied with description of 300 feet to beach which was not accurate at all Also had an accident on deck child tore foot open from nails

Dear Cheryl, Thank you for sharing your concerns about the KELLY home. Deck nails are a royal pain. We attempt to replace them with screws as often as we can. The process can be never-ending. I sincerely hope the child is okay.

Kelley house

older but very efficient. nice deck on ocean side. steps a little high getting directly into house. could use another TV. kitchen nicely furnished. a little further to beach than we thought. Nice duck location near water tower.

Great place

It was nice to stay so close to the beach! The house was the size we needed and we apprecatied the ing sized beds! We didn't realize there was a washer and dryer until the last day which was our fault, but it is located in a strange place. Overall, we were happy with the house

great location to access beach for a family with young children

The living room and kitchen area are updated, the rest of house are dated, but I cannot complain because location is great. The house is third house to the beach so it makes beach trip so convenient. Also down the other side of street (0.7 miles walk) is close to shopping store and board walk. To a family with several children, this is great location. They can walk to eat, shop and play at beach.
