4 Bedroom 2 Bath beach retreat, quiet beaches of Southern Shores. Pets invited.

Rustic, updated beach house surrounded by live oaks. If you want modern perfection, this might not be the place for you. If you want a smaller 4 bedroom, 2 bath home with many amenities and within walking distance to the beautiful beaches of Southern Shores on the Outer Banks, this is the place. You'll have a well-equipped kitchen with a gas range for cooking and all modern stainless steel appliances and a large sectional sofa in the great room with a flat screen TV, DVD player, Roku-box, and board games. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen bed and private deck, sharing a bathroom. The main floor has one bedroom with a king-size bed and one bedroom with two twin beds. All linens and towels are provided. There is also a ground floor laundry room with an extra fridge/freezer and multiple beach chairs and accessories. Rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. The large, fenced-in backyard is very private and has plenty of space for your dogs and the wraparound deck is gated allowing pets and guests to roam. An ideal, quiet location to escape with shopping, restaurants, and entertainment conveniently located nearby. Active duty military, veterans, and first responders receive a discount.

Lovely, clean dog-friendly home near the ocean.We had a wonderful, peaceful stay in this exceptionally clean and charming 4 bedroom, 2 bath home. It is a very relaxing place with a big fenced-in and shaded backyard that we enjoyed with our dogs; a large wrap-around deck we enjoyed with a glass of wine as the sun set; a large well-stocked and highly functional kitchen for preparing our local seafood dinners; and with quiet comfortable bedrooms, a great place for resting. We had a great time each day walking 3-5 minutes over to the quiet nearby beach to go swimming, shelling, and just taking in the sights. The hosts, Drew and Sarah were fantastic, ensuring the home and yard are well kept and stocked. They were excellent communicators. This is our second week long stay. We plan to return again!!

This vacation rental was definitely the best equipped place we've ever stayed. We wanted for nothing...Plenty of towels, hand soap, lots of extras in the kitchen, games, loads of books, not to mention plenty of beach chairs and even a wagon to pull everything. We really had a very nice week. Great stay! Highly recommend!

The hosts were amazing and were very responsive as we had a few issues and fixed up everything that they could. The house is a bit rundown but they are aware with the issues. It didn’t matter to us and the rustic feel was cute. We had a grill to use, as well as a griddle for pancakes. There was we also an air fryer for use as well. It was close to the beach, maybe a 7 min walk and super easy. There were walking trails all over but we didn’t get to use them. The beach items that we had available at the house to us was amazing, kayaks, body boards, skim boards, goggles, games, beach buggy/cart chairs and so much more. The two Salty Dog bikes were a huge hit with all the kids. The backyard was perfect for a fire and s’mores. We would definitely highly recommend staying here.

We loved the house. The fenced in pet area was great. Much appreciated that we could bring three dogs. The kitchen was well equiped. We had no problems at all. Our stay was wonderful!

The house was perfect for our family of 6. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We used the trail on clam shell for beach access. We found it was closer and less busy than the Chicahauk access. We would stay here again

This was our second time staying here. We always enjoy our time. The house is well stocked and comfortable furnishings. The dogs love the fenced yard. The neighborhood is quiet and great for walks. Very easy to walk or drive to the beach. We appreciated the house providing beach towels and chairs.
