Family Trip

We had a great stay at the house. It was wonderful to be out of town. We spent our mornings walking the quiet road, ventured into Two Harbors and Duluth and cooked dinner and breakfast each day. Was beautiful!

Superior Woods

Superior house retreat was a great place to stay for our family. Location is close to hiking and Duluth, and easy to navigate. Everyone's beds were comfortable. Ping pong table was a big hit. (We brought our own paddles and balls.) Kitchen was large so easy to work in for multiple helping hands. Duluth coffee to start was very much appreciated! Sauna is large and works for a good sweat if that is your thing. Yard area was recently mowed which was a relief so as to cut down on any concerns there. There are steps to get in both entrances. Communication worked well for us for arrival directions and access.

We loved this cozy cabin in the woods. Cute rustic decor. There was plenty of room for our family; we especially enjoyed the large kitchen and gathering area. The kitchen was well-equipped, except for spoons! We bought some more at the thrift store in town, so now there are plenty. No bathroom on the upper floor, and the stairs were a little tricky for Grandma and Grandpa with their bad knees, but the kids loved it. They used the ping-pong table a lot. It looked just like the pictures, and communication with the management company was quick and easy. A perfect spot for our 50th anniversary celebration.

Duluth Get Away

Property was comfortable being a cottage in the woods. However not being camping folk it was hard for certain members of the party to deal with the insects that were seen in the lower areas of the house. They reasoned if bugs are there where else are they? Also some of the dishes and utensils provided were not the cleanest.

Spacious, cozy, but loud

It was a fun house and there was a lot of room for our large group to all be in the same area (at the table playing games or watching TV).We wanted to have a ping pong tment, but the one provided ball had a hole and a crack in it; that was a bummer.A few things could have been improved (the dishwasher didn't get the dishes very clean and the can opener didn't work). More ping pong balls and newer paddles should be provided, especially if you're advertising this in the listing. If you're looking for quiet or privacy, this probably isn't the place (we could hear everyone, no matter where they were in the house).However, we all made the best of it and had a fun time hanging out and playing games. A couple people took advantage of the sauna and enjoyed it.

Exceeded our expectations

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful area. The first night, my wife stepped outside to walk the dog and was so excited to see all the stars, which we only see a few where we live. We stared at the stars for a solid hour every night. House was very warm and comfy. Close to some hidden restaurants and not too far from other towns or Duluth. We had a very relaxing stay and didn't want to leave. Responsive customer service.

Peaceful Getaway

My husband and I managed to head out of town for a short anniversary trip. This house was the perfect place to stay, surrounded by trees, quiet, and everything we needed. Received helpful instructions and communications that made the stay easy and stress-free. Welcoming touches throughout! Would definitely stay again, and recommend to anyone wanting to be close to Duluth/Two Harbors, but a little bit away for some quiet time too.

Friends Vacation at the Northshore

Location is fabulous! We found property very easy to get to and convenient for driving the Northshore. Great space inside and out! Two couples and two single persons in our group enjoyed the large, open kitchen, dining and living rooms and outside deck. Adequate bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. Very nice and secluded so we were not worried about noise when playing outdoor games (self-supplied). Would have liked to find more cooking utensils and frying pans but kitchen counter space is very good! Sound-proofing between main floor and 2nd floor would cutdown on noise. Overall this is a property we will consider returning too.

Perfect for family get-together.

Great place for a family get-together. Beds were very good, lots of space, very quiet area. Family meals together benefitted from the full kitchen, nice inside table and outside deck table, enjoying the sun and woods. We had an excellent time.
