    Bad VRBO title description - Cabin 1 and Cabin 3.

    There are 3 Cabins at this location address. At night it is not evident there are 3 cabins. We stayed at Cabin 3 (the wrong cabin} and didn't know it until after we check out two days later. We found the door unlocked upon our arrival which was ok since it is so remote. We suspected something wrong when our door code wouldn't work the first morning of our stay when we returned from breakfast and could not get in. We were lucky the owner came by and gave us a working door code. I'm certain this cabin (CABIN 1), is much nicer than the one we stayed in.(Cabin 3). Cabin 3 had no working smoke detectors. Only had one smoke detector in the cabin with no 9V battery. No CO detector and it has a gas stove. Beware, the entry door lock cannot be opened from the outside without a physical door key. Also, be prepared that the only heat is portable plug in heaters. .TV in bedroom doesn't work. The other bedroom has no TV.. Our checkout instructions wanted us to put towels and bedding near the washer. There is no washer or dryer in Cabin 3. We never received any driving directions. We had a basic address however, Waze and Google Maps had no idea which driveway of 2 homes and 3 Cabins. However, Cabin 3 was very clean. All 3 cabins have easy access to the Creeper, and our stay was good overall with just the few inconveniences. My biggest problem for me was NO smoke detectors or CO detector. I would NOT book any house or cabin without working detectors.

    Cozy Cabin

    The cabin is so warm and inviting. It was very close to downtown Abingdon. Beautiful views too!

    Great, quiet, and comfortable

    It is right off of the Creeper Trail and downtown is only about a mile and a half away. So, nice restaurants are very close by. I would definitely stay here again.
