Take the perfect mountain vacation at this incredibly cozy, creekside log cabin in Maggie Valley. Perfect couples getaway, or a fun trip for a small group. Our cabin is very easy to access (close to everything in Maggie) yet you still feel tucked away in the woods. You’ll love the spacious, open living room and kitchen, the spa-like remodeled bathroom, and the comfy gas log fireplace that heats up the entire living room. Enjoy the year-round flowing creek and wintertime views from the covered back porch or relax in an adirondack chair by the creekside fire pit. Stocked with plenty of cooking utensils, blankets, towels and more – you'll have everything you need for a weekend getaway or a two week stay. We do have another cabin close-by if you have a larger group; contact us for more details if you may be interested in renting both.

This was an excellent choice for our short get-a-way. The location was perfect for our need of wanting to explore more of the mountains and towns in the area. The house was compfy and cozy with everything we needed for our stay. The king size bed was comforatble and the shower was great!

We traveled for a short weekend get away and this cabin was the perfect landing pad. Kitchen was well stocked. Maggie Valley is a sweet little town and we made trips to both Cherokee and Sylva. The parkway is close too!

The cabin was perfect for our anniversary getaway. Close to town and very close to the neighbors but still felt very private. Everything was clean.

We enjoyed the central and quiet location of this cabin. The host was easy to work with and provided us with good info. The cabin was well stocked with dishes, utensils and cleaning products. The bathroom was very nice with plenty of soap, shampoo, toilet tissue and towels. We enjoyed our evenings on the back porch with our favorite libation. This was the perfect place for the two of us. We would use again in the future. Oh yeah! There was even a guitar (in tune by the way) hanging on the wall available for those who are gifted enough to play.

Great getaway for two

My wife and I loved the cabin. It was great for 2 people but it had a sleeper sofa for 2 more to sleep. We would definitely stay again.

Nice little place.

This was a wonderful experience. The home was well stocked and appliances were all updated and in excellent running order. Air conditioner worked extremely well. The location was in the heart of Maggie Valley. I will definitely stay here again.

Inside nice

When we first pulled into the property I was a little disappointed, leaves all over the porch and deck, I could tell they had been there a while. The inside was clean and beautiful.One suggestion, put reclining sofa in front of tv, it is more comfortable.

Thanks for your review Linda, we appreciate you booking! We routinely try to keep up with the leaves, but will try to stay on it a little more. With all the recent rain/storms they come down quite a bit, as the cabin is pretty covered in tree canopy. We have considered placing the reclining couch in front of the TV, but that would leave a cord stretched out across the floor (electric recliner) and we thought that would be a trip-hazard and not as aesthetically pleasing. Thanks again for booking!

Hi Dave, I apologize for the lack of communication. I never received notice that you had sent a message from VRBO, which is something I have complained about to their customer service multiple times. They rely too heavily on 'push notifications' that do not always come through, and do not email or text me when a guest sends a message. I literally had to login to my account just now to see the message you sent. If you ever stay at a VRBO again in the future, please remember this and use the contact info for the owner (or PM company) if you do not hear back through the platform. VRBO really needs to up their game with how they notify owners when guests communicate. We do hope you enjoyed your stay and again, we apologize for the miscommunication but I can guarantee you that was not on our end. We never received a notification.
