Charming Chalet - Walk to Whiskey Row! Dog friendly

Nestled in the tall pines stands an adorable, quiet and comfortable chalet just waiting for you. Instantly you will begin to relax and breathe deeper. The front porch is shady and welcoming with comfortable chaise lounge chairs. Inside you will find real hard wood floors, a charming crystal chandelier and a cozy fireplace. A doggie door (50 lbs or smaller) and 2 Fenced-in areas for your dog(s) allow you to feel right at home with the whole family! A fully equipped kitchen has gas stove and fridge– just add your own gourmet magic.

There are board & card games, Smart TVs, free wi-fi internet, books and more. The main house has 3 Bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms PLUS a detached guest quarters has two new futons and laundry area. Sleeps up to 8 people. Upstairs there are 2 MORE balconies from which you can enjoy a newspaper, cup of tea, or cocktail.

On the back patio, you can sit around the fire-pit, new BBQ, and relax with friends and family. The tire swing, horseshoe pit, and hammock, create an atmosphere of fun. There is a 3 night minimum to stay, and the property is a non smoking campus.

Don’t feel like cooking? Walk, drive, ride your bike, or take a 2 min. cab ride to Whiskey Row for a night of dining & live music entertainment. Note: not just for dog lovers; after each visitor, our home is immaculately cleaned. This is a special getaway. Come stay in the pines, we’ll provide the charm.

perfect Place to Chill

Wanted to get out of the heat in Phoenix. We sure did. The chalet was perfect. Very clean, comfortable, private and close to everything. Will definitely return.

Great place to stay especially if you have Pooches. We loved the fact that we were a short distance

From the downtown area which has lots of shops and restaurants. Cory Pines is the best and we will definitely stay again.

Great stay at a wonderful house

Really enjoyed our stay at the house. We rented it for an event we were attending in Prescott and could not be happier with the location, the house and the owner. Tons of great restaurants and interesting things close by. We will definitely be staying here again going forward!

Weekend Get Away

We enjoyed our stay a the Cory Pines cabin, in walking distance from downtown Prescott. It is a great location with lots of things to do for our entire family. Directions to the home were very clear and communication with the host was great.

Cory Pines Chalet: A Perfect Blend of Comfort, Convenience, and Charm

Cory Pines far exceeded our expectations and turned our last-minute Christmas plans into something memorable. Nestled among old-growth Ponderosa pines, this property offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience, being just under a mile from both downtown Prescott and the rodeo grounds. Despite its proximity, the chalet feels like a peaceful retreat in the woods.The accommodations are exceptional, with vibrant, cozy décor and thoughtful amenities that make it feel like a true home away from home. As seasoned VRBOers, we were blown away by how well-stocked Kelli’s property was—games, books, Roku devices, kids’ coloring supplies, and a fully equipped kitchen. The linens were soft and comfortable, with plenty of extras for colder nights.The outdoor spaces are an unexpected highlight, including a fully gated patio with tables, chaises, a fire pit, and a separate dog area. Upstairs bedrooms each have private balconies, and the patios’ east-west orientations makes them ideal year-round.The layout is functional and family-friendly, with a downstairs queen bedroom, a cozy kitchen and dining area, and two comfortable upstairs bedrooms. The real surprise was the detached guest house, complete with fold-down sofas, a large TV, and laundry area, providing everyone with privacy and space.It’s truly a gem offering location, comfort, and charm in spades. Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great weekend with our two little ones and dog up in the Prescott pines. The house was clean, comfortable with lots of patio space to enjoy being outside . Location was a convenient short drive to downtown. Would definitely stay again

Great place! Look forward to coming back!

This place is just close enough to walk or ride bikes to the Row, yet still felt like we were secluded in the woods when hanging out on the back patio next to the fire. Kelli, our host, takes great pride in this place and we really felt at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Cory cabin and look forward to staying there again in the future. Highly recommend this place!!!

Charming and close to town!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Cory Pines! The home was charming, cozy and so close to Whiskey Row. The home is well appointed with everything you need, including toiletries in case you forgot to bring your own! Our two Chihuahua's enjoyed the patio area where they were part of the family while we relaxed outdoors. Would definitely stay again.

Cutest house

It's a cabin in the woods, right in the heart of things. Decorated very nicely. Had everything we needed. My family made some wonderful memories there. Prescott has the best weather and nice people. Can't wait for another visit.

Great Vacation Getaway

People tend to forget just how close Prescott is to Phoenix--even from the SE valley, it only took us an hour and 45 minutes to get there. Kelli's place is really great, with great privacy, pine trees, and all the comforts of home, and is just far enough away from Whiskey Row that the weekend evening party noise was minimal at the house, but only a short drive away to get into the thick of it. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely come back!

Exceeded our expectations!

We had a wonderful time in your home! Lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy the summer! You have done a great job of having all things needed for a wonderful stay. We would stay there again. (Only suggestion would be a air conditioner in the second bedroom upstairs). We can't wait to return!!

Great pooch-friendly getaway!

This charming Alpine chalet was a great getaway to beat the summer heat. It's in a great location just a mile from the Courthouse Square area, in a quiet neighborhood in the pines. The house is set up really well for dogs with a completely fenced in patio area and a separate side yard with artificial turf for dogs to play and potty. Wildlife is abundant - we saw deer and javelina here so be sure to keep an eye on the kids and dogs.

Beautiful home!

We loved our weekend in Prescott. We took our dog and she had her own dog run area. The house had everything we needed. Modern day visit to grandmas. Super quiet neighborhood. Could walk to town and taxi back for $5. Loved it!!

Thanksgiving in the woods.

It was a very nice place. Enough personal space for everyone, just a bit crowded in the kitchen. Very well appointed. The dogs loved having their space as well. Close to town and the lakes. Had a problem with other dogs barking, but they may have been visiting as well. Would go back again.

Comfortable, convenient & great location

We stayed a long weekend in early August. Very Clean, comfortable and easy access. We had planned to bring our big dogs, but changed our plans last minute. They would have really enjoyed the large back deck, tall trees, and breeze - next time! Location was very convenient for our needs and we could see all the personal touches the host did to ensure we were comfortable. Plan to return same time next year!

Excellent location and Gorgeous Property!!

Wow! We were impressed the moment we walked in! Clean and comfortable, my family of 4 and 2 dogs had an excellent week stay! Everything about this property was accurately portrayed in the description. The detached unit is an added bonus! The location is perfect for day trips as we explored Prescott and the local forest as well as Sedona and the Grand Canyon. The property is extremely dog friendly-- my dogs appeared to enjoy the doggy door and freedom to come and go outside as they desired. I will highly recommend this property to friends.

Quiet mountain getaway

Cory Pines was truly a dream come true! The home is even more charming than the pictures show. The area is very quiet and private. The house is very well stocked and adorably decorated. The love the owners have for this property is plain to see! Our chihuahuas had a great time playing in the enclosed dog area. What an awesome amenity that is for pet lovers:) We spent a week in Prescott and came back so relaxed and happy. Very quaint town with lots to do! Awesome vacation !

Comfortable.

We, along with our dog, Luke, really enjoyed our weeks stay. It was so nice to sit outside in comfortable chairs every evening and enjoy the cool breeze. ( We live in the Desert) . It was furnished nicely with everything we needed, including laundry. The property was clean, fresh, fully fenced and well taken care of. The close proximity to town was really a plus. Needless to say, we will return to this property.

Cute house

A very nice house. stocked with everything you would need. Caution that even with great directions, it is really hard to find at night the 1st time. Suggest that if possible you arrive the 1st time during the day, in order to find the parking behind the house. Hosts were very responsive the night we arrived. The dog run on the side of the house is perfect for dog lovers.

A wonderful A frame home with all the conveniences. Even our dogs loved the stay.

Prescott is a fantastic walking town and staying in Cory Pines adds to the total enjoyment. We loved being able to walk downtown with our hounds and enjoy the many pet friendly patios for breakfast or lunch. The house is well equipped with conveniences of washer and dryer, cable TV, Internet, kitchen wares, etc. Plenty of clean linens. Our dogs are used to using a doggie door so they loved the freedom of going inside and outside into the fenced patio and turf yard. A great get away for us and the dogs and MUCH cooler weather than our home in Austin. Thank you for the lovely stay in your home.

We loved our home in Prescott in the midst of the “forest” yet so close to the square and all that it offers. We had planned to take pets but did not at the last minute. However it would have been a great place to have them with us as there is fencing all around the back and even a dog run! We would gladly go back and stay at the same great home!!

Wonderful Home!

We came to Prescott for our daughter's college graduation from Prescott College. This home was perfect for our stay with family & friends. The house is beautiful, comfortable beds, great common space (especially the two decks) and the kitchen has everything we needed. We even took advantage of the BBQ and the fire pit/chiminea. The house is easy to find & close to downtown but in a nice quiet neighborhood with lots of beautiful pine trees. Darcy, thank you for sharing your home with us. I wish I had discovered it sooner when my daughter first came to college at Prescott. However, if we ever return to Prescott, I will definitely be contacting you!

Great restaurants are sprinkled all about the square. Our home is a safe and convenient place for your pooch and our house has a great and relaxing feel.
