Enjoy our Green Gables Mountain Lodge, a retreat for all seasons. Relax by the fire, or on the decks while enjoying your favorite beverages. The home is 2000+ sq. ft. plus 2 large decks, 1 car garage and large lot covered with pine trees.

Easy access up only one step from the garage.
Maximum guests are 8, excluding children under age 13. Total guests are 12.

Head out on foot, bike or car to Tahoe Donner amenities: golf/tennis; ski/board/cross country; hiking; horseback riding; beach/pool for swimming; spa/hot tub; snowhill for sledding

Large, comfortable sunken living room with river rock fireplace for playing games, reading, watching favorite teams or movies, wall mounted TV, cable/wifi internet. Large decks & dining room for family/friend gatherings.

Newly remodeled, granite counter tops and stocked, well lighted kitchen including spices, new stainless appliances, ice maker, garbage disposal, dishwasher, island bar, room for shared cooking.

Bedrooms/Baths: Sun Valley Primary with California King and Private bath/Jacuzzi Tub/Shower; Chamonix guest room with Queen, Cody guest Room with 2 Doubles, Shared Yellowstone full bath with Tub/Shower; Upstairs Ticonderoga Loft with door - 4 Twin Beds and half bath and TV with legendary VHS Disney movies.

The house was outstanding! Layout was open, a cozy fireplace with endless amounts of firewood, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and access to Tahoe Donner HOA with hot tubs, pool and sauna. Peg was super easy to communicate with, highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Another wonderful stay at Green Gables! This has become a yearly tradition for us. The house is alwaysclean and comfortable, and the kids love sledding in the back of the house. We will definitely be back again.

We had such a great time at Peg's cabin! The house had everything we needed and more. My daughter learned how to ski which made this trip extra special. Great communication! Peg was very responsive and welcoming.

Awesome Place to Stay

This was one of the best places we have rented. It's very spacious, has a fully stocked kitchen and VERY clean. We loved having the wood burning fire place and the place also had Christmas decorations when we arrived.

Weekend getaway

My family and I enjoyed this cozy cabin. There was plenty of room for the adults and kids. The host was very responsive and took care of an issue we had right away. Would definitely stay here again!

Great for Families!

We stayed here over the MLK weekend for the kids to have some snow playing time. The cabin is cozy and has everything we needed. We ran into some issues with the cabin, but the host Peg responded and resolved quickly! Will definitely stay here next time!

Great place to take your family!

We had a very cozy Christmas weekend here! The ping pong table was a hit with the teens. The house was set up well and had plenty of space for games, food, togetherness and rest. I'm looking forward to coming back!

We had a really great stay at Green Gables in Tahoe Donner. The house is spacious, clean, well stocked, and thoughtfully laid out, making it an excellent choice for multiple families. The large living room with its beautiful vaulted ceilings was a standout and made the home feel especially warm and inviting. The kids also had a fantastic time playing ping pong in the garage, which was a fun bonus. The host was awesome throughout the entire process — super responsive, flexible, and genuinely pleasant to interact with. Although our stay was unfortunately cut short because of bad weather, we really enjoyed the time we had there. We visited in the winter, but the enormous front deck made it easy to see how this would be an amazing summer rental too.

Hi Adam, You were also awesome to coordinate the needed travel date changes due to the weather conditions. What a winter we had in the Sierras, too much/too little snow. Cozy cabin close to Tahoe-Donner

We really enjoyed watching the snow fall and cozying up by the fireplace! The house has a nice layout for families and friends with plenty of space in the living room and dining room, and an enclosed loft sleeping space for the kids and three bedrooms downstairs. We enjoyed cooking meals in the well-stocked kitchen and the close proximity to Tahoe Donner ski resort as well as cross country and snowshoeing options. Would definitely stay here again!

Green Gables, the perfect Truckee get away!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Green Gables. The check in and out process was simple and we had great communication with Peg. The house comfortably supported our three generations of family. Location is in the heart Tahoe Donner. Green Gables is definitely a four season home. Enjoy!

Great Tahoe Cabin for families with kids

Very nice cabin, fully stocked kitchen, all the toys for having fun. Ping pong table, great deck, access to all the Donner activities. Great host. Minuses: there is a nice wood burning chimney but the house has a smoke smell, if you mind that.

Family Snowy Christmas Get-Away

We loved it! The house is lovely and well set up for guests,all the amenities are available, very close access to local skiing and sledding; plenty of housewares an cookery for large gatherings. We did not use the fireplace but tons of firewood available. A very enjoyable family gathering!

The house was just what we needed for a weekend away with friends and kids in Tahoe. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including anything we needed for cooking! Peg was incredibly kind and helpful whenever we had any questions. The location was right down the street from Tahoe Donner, a very quaint and family friendly ski area. We highly enjoyed our stay and loved sitting by the fireplace and chatting. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tahoe.

We love adventure, skiing, mountain biking, hiking and reading by the fire! Green Gables Mountain Lodge is our family cabin and we enjoy sharing with other families who will care for it as if their own. The cabin has board games, puzzles and a stocked kitchen. Our cabin is located in a neighborhood with full time residents and we all appreciate your attention to quiet hours and respect for the environment. We enjoy walks, hikes and mountain biking on the great trail system, golfing on the beautiful nearby courses, skiing at Sugar Bowl, Northstar, Palisades: Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows and very close for family skiing at Tahoe Donner.
Also beach and pool time at the Tahoe Donner amenities in summer; mountain biking, snow shoeing or cross country skiing on the extensive trail system and in the Euer Valley.
