What a gem of a mountain retreat! The views are stunning and the house comfy. Many favorite mountain towns are within a short drive, but I found it hard to want to go far.

Cozy home with lots of outdoor space to enjoy the views. Host provided several suggestions for things to do locally and all proved out well. Communication with host was really good--made us feel very welcome.

Our family had a wonderful time at this cozy house. From the time we walked in, we felt comfortable. All the amenities were great and the host was very welcoming and accomodating. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

The host was very nice and super quick to reply to any questions we had! The views were fantastic. There was plenty of coffee and the fireplace in the living room was a very nice touch.

We loved our stay at this cabin! The house was super cozy, clean and had everything we needed. The views were incredible, and it felt magical being surrounded by Christmas tree farms! Perfect spot to relax and unwind - or adventure!!

The best staycation

Me and a few friends chose this property for our Friendsgiving staycation. All I can say is this place is 10/10 the service, amenities, and location are all amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a family friendly get away!

Peaceful Cabin and dog friendly!

Spent a long weekend getting out of the Florida heat with our 2 huskies. Cabin was pet friendly with fenced in area for the dogs and lovely balconies to enjoy the shade, cooler weather and lovely views. Host was very responsive.

A restorative retreat.

Our family stayed for 4 days, 3 nights. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful place to unwind after some difficult months. It was quiet, natural, and breathtakingly beautiful!

Cozy Holiday Getaway

We loved our mountain getaway up in the cabin! It had everything we needed with even a book of suggestions that were helpful. We loved being close enough to Boone and West Jefferson for day trips then we could surround ourselves by beautiful views of the nearby Christmas tree farms! Can't wait to return!!!

Great view. Comfortable and clean. Although second full bathroom was on garage level, it was easy to use via inside stairway. Having extra half-bath on loft level great.

Awesome Cabin with great views

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway and honestly it was amazing. The views were fantastic and it was misty and magical. The house was great for us. Beds were comfortable, and we loved cooking on the Blackstone. Elisabeth was a wonderful host and she made she we were totally comfortable.

Mountain retreat

This picturesque setting of this cozy cabin made for a very relaxing and rejuvenating escape from the Lowcountry heat and humidity. The drive to Boone and Blowing Rock along the parkway gave opportunities for short hikes with our dogs. This dog friendly property, complete with fenced exercise and play yard, makes a great getaway.
