Shipmates Quarters sprang to mind when I was lucky enough to view & add this cute studio to our portfolio of properties
With a partial Ocean view and great park view across from the world
renowned Honolulu Zoo & Diamond Head crater I truly love this tiny place

● Waikiki Grand Hotel Plumbing Construction Notice:
To ensure the long-term comfort of our guests, the Waikiki Grand Hotel will be undergoing vital plumbing improvements from mid-July through late December 2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. With no work on Weekends, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Day. Daytime noise and activity should be expected.
● Please note that our rates have already been significantly discounted for this period, and no additional discounts before, during or after will be given. If you’re planning to spend your daytime relaxing inside the hotel, we recommend checking dates outside this window to ensure you have the best experience possible.
● Since most of the activity occurs during the day, it’s the perfect excuse to spend your 8-to-5 hours exploring the beauty of Waikiki Beach, hiking Diamond Head, or enjoying local excursions!

This was a great space for my sister and I to stay pre cruise. The location was perfect, the room as described, small but perfect. Would stay here again, it's priced right!

The room was great. Clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was incredible and offered easy access to the beach and shops. The building felt safe and the staff was friendly. The only complaint was the mattresses in the room; need to be replaced and are saggy. I've met hammocks that had more support! Would definitely stay here again..after they replace those mattresses.

Good location, room was clean but not that comfortable We had heavy rain. If you want to read or play cards the 2 chairs were hard & not comfortable. Too hard to sit on the bunk bed unless you want to slouch over. No lamp either, the only light was right above the person sleeping in the top bunk. A/C is very noisy. We will stay in the Waikiki Grand Hotel again but unfortunately we won't stay in this unit again.

Great Location

It was very close to the beach and shopping. The views were lovely. The noise early in the morning was the worst part, as deliveries happen at 4 AM daily. They were just dropping kegs and other supplies. The beds are very comfortable but we did go get pillows from my daughter, as they were a little hard and lumpy. The service from the hotel was absolutely phenomenal and the communication was easy and pleasant. It was a good experience and I would reccomend due to location!

Room is very small and basic but was still nice. Had a little kitchenette surprisingly well stocked with "picnic" essentials/coffee/hot water kettle, microwave. Room is jus the bunk bed and has small window with limited view but you don't stay here to be in the room. Its a place to sleep. Great access to beach, a bit (only slightly) quieter since you face the Zoo but you will hear the garbage trucks and the nightly recycling scavengers who show up at 4 am to go through the glass recycling. I guess there isn't much one can do about that but it will wake you up. Other than that, for the price and location it fits the bill.
