House was in a perfect location. Close walk to downtown without being right in the heart of downtown. Good amount of parking space and house had everything we needed for the stay. Host were very kind and responsive.

The property is in a great location. We walked to Bar Harbor all week and only used our vehicle to drive to Acadia which was only 5 minutes away. The house can fit 11, but is a little challenging if you have small children as the gathering areas are small.

The house very clean. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us. Instructions for access and wifi were great. Two full kitchens and 3 full baths allowed us to not get in rach others’ way.

Bar HarborThe house had what we needed, a place in town with a nice house and yard. We easily walked to shops and restaurants. The yard is nice to hang out in. It is also close to Acadia. The property manager is very responsive and check in was easy. The house is clean and has plenty of room for one or two families. Sarah S.Stayed 5 nights in May 2026

Great house and location

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable house. We liked the charm of the house as it’s quirky with the design since it was two apartments. Perfect location into town and great communication from host. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and amenities

We went there with family in early April, so the city was not crowded. The listing matched the description and was sufficient for all our needs. I’d go back to this property if I had to visit Bar Harbor again. The exterior was very average but the interiors were really good. Felt cozy and had all amenities for a family stay.

The house layout was a bit small in some regard. The main living room can seat 4 with a sofa and one chair. We had some hot weather so the bedrooms and main living were cool. The 2nd floor layout had no AC so we had to move kids to cooler spots to sleep. The setting afternoon sun on windows was hot and the window treatments a bit sheer. Some aluminum foil we put on windows helped that sun problem. The property manager was helpful to bring two more fans. The home was clean. Some kitchen items such as common bowls were not to be found. The fridge worked fine and the ice is handmade in trays. Beds and pillows are comfortable.

Great stay in Bar Harbor

We had a great time at your home in Bar Harbor. It was a great location! Walking distance to downtown restaurants and shopping. Looks like a lot of updates had been done. Would suggest more seating in den. There were 7 of us. But only seating for 4 people. The other extra chair was broken, so we didn’t sit in it. Thanks for a great time!

The location of this house is great - easy 10 minute walk to the center of Bar Harbor shopping, restaurants and entertainment, and a 5-minute drive to the entrance to Acadia. One day we walked down to rent electric bicycles from Maine State Kayak & Bikes (super nice -great bikes) and biked to Acadia - you have to do it, too!! The house itself was great for us - 3 retired couples - we each had our own bed/bath and the kitchen is perfect for eating together and game nights!!! We had a blast! Thank you for taking care of minor issues very, very quickly! We'll be back!

We had a wonderful vacation. The location of the house is ideal for biking into the park and walking into town. The house is well equipped and very clean and the gardens are lovely.
