Great location to the beach. Beautiful view with ocean breezes. Easy access and so much to do on the island:) Loved every relaxing minute! The only issue during our stay was construction was going outside on other units and it was loud.

We are aware of on going work in the building, but according to the HOA's schedule sent, workers should have been on a holiday break during the duration of your stay. We are sorry that that was not the case and have raised this with the HOA manager. We are otherwise pleased to hear that you enjoyed the villa and your stay overall. This was a return trip for us. We love the ocean view and easy access to the beach. We are already planning our next vacation to this lovely condo.

Ocean views

This property has a wonderful location just steps to the beach. It's nicely appointed and has plenty of wine and margarita glasses! There are ocean views from the living room, master bedroom and porch.

47th year of going to Kiawah Island for vacation

It was a good time like usual. The family all enjoyed it. I got to do it swim every morning. We’ll be back next year.

Memorial Day

Property was lovely and very clean. The power went out for 3-4 hours and the candles on the table were very helpful and much appreciated.

Short walk from beach

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was simply furnished eye plenty of seating. It was overall very clean but there was evidence an animal had been there. It was an easy walk to the pier for a beautiful day at the beach. Also a short walk to the Sanctuary and Heron Park. Overall we would strongly recommend staying here and would enjoy renting this unit again.

All went according to plan, our expectation were met. Cleanliness very good, just the patio was not swept and dusted. The toilet handle in the second bathroom was a bit wiggly and the DVD player was out of order in main TV. Other than these items, all rest perfect, great property, great smooth management.

4416 Windswept

The Villa location was very nice, the Villa itself could use some care with updates with tv in bedrooms and squealing sliding glass door out to balcony, more comfortable balcony furniture, update bedroom furniture in master bedroom, and the bedding didn’t smell like it had been washed, the sofa smelled of stinky feet. It’s a very nice view from villa itself, nice and quiet and very accommodating walking distance to beach.

Property stay

As much as we liked our place, we would not rent it again. The week we were there a family above us had four young kids who’s running around really put a damper on our trip. At one point they were screaming outside our door and I had to say something. In addition, (and not your fault) but our beach accessory order was stolen before we got there. LOVE Kiawah, but the noise above us was too loud & consistent pounding of the floor & made sleeping in difficult and even hearing the TV challenging at times

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is not a VRBO rental by an owner. It is a real estate rental for an owner. Very impersonal. The apartment is nice but has no soul. The proximity of the beach is the plus. We were lucky that the complex was not full as the close proximity of neighbors could have been a problem.A broken lounging chair in the living room was broken and not usable. It should have been either removed, replaced, or removed before our arrival.

We are sorry to hear of your continued disappoint with this unit. We the property management company who manages this villa on behalf of our owners, we pride ourselves in the care we take of each home on our program. This villa is decorated simply in a style fitting its beach and ocean views, for which many past guests have enjoyed. Regarding the lounge chair, we did send this to our team when you made us aware of it. Upon their investigation, the found that while it is broken in, it does not appear to be broken. However, they have reviewed it with the owners to consider for future upgrades. We hope you were able to enjoy your time on the island!

Good Beach View

The beach view and patio are very nice. However, the condo was not cleaned well at all. Floors were dirty, patio was not swept and table was filthy. The toilet handle was also broken in the main bathroom. Dirty dishes were put away which means that the dishwasher was not run after the last tenants. Cleaning people put away dirty dishes. Pretty disgusting especially during COVID times. PM did have cleaners and maintenance come clean and fix the toilet handle the next day. The furniture in the unit is dirty. Needs to be professionally cleaned and the chair by the bar --- well don't sit in it. It has a big whole in it covered though by a cushion. We were blessed with good weather and the beach is close. We did enjoy the island of Kiawah. Not the condo.

I am pleased that we were able to address all of your concerns promptly the next day, but do not see that any other complaints were received until the evening prior to your departure when our team received a call addressing the issues from the first night of your stay. While issues are rare, we do pride ourselves in the ability to address anything reported as soon as we are able whether it be cleanliness, maintenance or otherwise.

First rate accommodations except for seniors or handicapped

two communication failures. The elevator to the second store requires climbing of a dozen stairs. we are seniors and had a lot to load in, and were exhausted after an hour. I had called a month earlier to confirm and was told elevator and no problem loading in. Also we requested to be considered for checking in prior to 4 PM and were told we would be contacted as soon as the cleaning inspection was completed and it might be prior to 4. No text or email was ever received. But on the good side, spacious, furnished, nice amenities, outstanding wifi internet, nice refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, clothes washer, decent water pressure for shower. One detail is the freezer had a strong freezer burn smell and needs to be aired out, baking soda treatment

Please again accept our apologies for any miscommunication. Our team was correct in advising that there is an elevator on the ground floor. At this building, as pictured, there are a few steps to get to that ground level. I am glad to see that our maintenance team was able to assist in moving your recliner upon departure. Had we known the reason for the elevator being needed, we certainly would have been more thorough in our description. In regards to early arrival, we are happy to contact guests should the property become available before the designated 4pm check in. Unfortunately, we were not able to provide an early check in in this case. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the villa and your time on the island otherwise!

Great location, needs easy updates

There are so many easy updates to make that would give this place five stars! 1. Update the pillows! All pillows felt cheap, lumpy and old. I expect this in a cheaper condo, not a beachfront. 2. Electronics. time to buy a new tv for the living room. There is no reason to have three remote controls anymore. TVs are cheap, this condo was pricey. Easy solution. 3. Oh my there was pet hair. We did not see this advertised as pet friendly and I would have never stayed if so. 4. Kitchen- most of the non stick pots were scratched and should be thrown away for health. The kitchen cabinets were flimsy and difficult to close. Beware! There are no beach towels, each bathroom has one bar of soap, the rental company gives you two pods for laundry and two pods for the dishwasher. Bring your own… everything. Stay here for proximity to beach and The Nest. It’s comfortable but certainly not high end details.

Fantastic Weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at your lovely condo. So close to everything! The weather did not cooperate, but we found so many things to do: bike rides, delicious meals, walks on the beach. The condo was clean and well-appointed. Everything we needed was provided. I will definitely recommend your home to our friends and we weill be back!

Great location

Great location, great place, very clean. You can walk to The Sanctuary and the village market which is nice. Just remember RENT A CAR! You do not have access to island transportation. You have to be staying at a Kiawah owned property. We still had everything we needed and beach access was great! The free rental equipment was a great touch. Last thing, THANK YOU for not making us clean the place while charging a cleaning fee. We just put the key in the lockbox and left! I would Certainly recommend this place for anyone wanting to unwind!

Clean and Close to Beach!

We love windswept villas and have stayed at several over the years. This is definitely one of our favorites. The luxury vinyl flooring made it very easy to keep the sand swept up throughout the week. The bunkbeds were a favorite for our two daughters age 5 and 3. The lower bunk is a king size so they could share that one if they were too scared to get on the top bunk some nights. Akers Ellis left a really nice welcome basket with a water bottle and information. There was plenty of dish soap, laundry detergent, and trash bags which is something we’ve had issues with at other stays. The location of this unit made it easy to get down the stairs to the beach and also had a great view of the ocean from the master bedroom and the balcony. We loved sitting on the balcony early in the morning and watching the deer walk around outside.

Relaxing Vacation with Friends

Property was ‘as advertised’ - great patio with water view and short walk to the sand. Only complaints were related to 2nd bedroom - the room needs additional window blackout shades or curtains as the outdoor light shines in and can’t be shut off. Additionally the USB outlets in the bed cubby have bright blue lights that need to be blocked. We loved the property and will definitely consider it again!

First time at Kiawah, Wonderful trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Quiet property. Loved the deck with the beautiful view. We ate breakfast every morning outside even though it was chilly. Comfortable unit. Desk in the living room was very nice with beach view. Very impressed with the service from the property manager and beach gear partner. Organized, efficient and good communication. Would stay here again on our next visit.
