The Emerald and 712 is a perfect spot to enjoy some down time between hospital visits and recovery appointments with several doctors at UTMB. Staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. Will definitely return soon, but next time for a true vacation.

The condo was great! Very clean and our view over looked the pool and you could see the beach also. The pool at the Emerald is amazing.

It was a beautiful place. Ocean view and clean apartment. Pool was nice and well kept. My kids really enjoyed it.

Have been here several times. Everything went well. Great view. Only problem was a very slow leak in the main toilet

The property was gorgeous. The pool was nice and the location was wonderful. We only had a couple of issues with this condo. There is a banging inside of the wall that is constant. You can hear it in all the rooms. We think it is a pipe. Another issue was the handle going out to the patio. There were directions on how to open the door, but it was a struggle and we were not able to lock it. The building right in front of the property closest to the beach and on the pool side had an alert that happens about every 15 minutes warning about private property (this was for the building right in front of the condos). Other than those items, it was a beautiful condo that had everything we could ask for.

Our family had previously stayed at this property and were looking forward to another enjoyable vacation. We checked in on Sunday and quickly situated ourselves, including a refrigerator full of groceries. We woke Monday morning to find the refrigerator leaking water and the temperature rising. We reported the issue and mid-week a technician came by and after 15 minutes told us the refrigerator wasn’t working! We didn’t check out until Saturday morning, but never heard from the host, even after we reached out, asking if there might be consideration for a discounted rate, especially after losing a refrigerator full of groceries and unexpectedly having to eat out the entire week. Although we understand appliances will go out, to not respond or offer any accommodations for the unnecessary inconvenience and additional financial impact is extremely disappointing and enough to keep us from going back.

When we first came in there was a musty smell which continued if we didn't have the ceiling fans going and use febreze. The balcony door still doesn't lock which has been true for over a year. The bottom drawer o the island was missing the face and it looked like someone had started to fix it. The hand towels were very thin but not the other towels. there was a rip in the back bedroom bed cover. There was a pounding noise which seems to be coming from the bathroom. This is not new and comes and goes. But, the view is great, the location perfect for us to visit our relatives and the decorating is very nice.We have stayed here before as you can tell, and may stay again. The smell was the worst thing for my wife. For me it is the balcony door.
