Check-in was easy and place was clean. Included parking was a bonus. Host responded quickly to any questions. Great place to stay and location was perfect for the itinerary we had planned.

Property was great with easy access to the covered parking garage, pool and hot tubs. Walking distance to the south side of Venice Beach. The property is located in a fairly low traffic area which was surprising given the size of the roads; a pleasant plus!King bed is comfy and has room to hold 6 people (4 was perfect, might be a lot tighter with the extra beds out). Communication with the property manager was smooth and responsive. Check in and check out were simple to pick up keys (off property but not far away - 2 minute drive). Would recommend as a good family or couple place to stay in Marina Del Rey!

Great stay in MDR!

Great property and plenty of room! Some issues with the coffee pot and an info binder for property would be helpful but otherwise an excellent stay!

Great place for reasonable price

Overall we had a great experience. The property was easy to find, nice and clean, within walking distance of grocery store and restaurants. Natalya was great and answered questions in a timely manner. My real only negative is that the address (and corresponding Google map) in the listing is not accurate. We selected this property thinking it was within walking distance to Venice Beach/Boardwalk when in reality it was located at the opposite end of the marina. Not a deal breaker as everything else was as expected but did cause us to have to drive to the beach and pay for parking which we were trying to avoid when booking.

As someone who is well traveled and accustomed to luxury, I have to say that this was not a 'luxe' apartment or experience. I arrived to a dirty apartment that hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, which the owner did quickly resolve. The kitchen and bathroom aren't the newest and could use some repairs. The sofa (more of a loveseat) makes a really loud noise with the slightest movement. The blackout curtains are nice to have, but they're too narrow in the bedroom so they don't fully block out the light. Nothing about the furnishings or decor were luxurious.Because I booked an 18-day stay while waiting for my summer accommodations to become available, I expected to have full use of the facility. Unfortunately, I was not able to receive package deliveries and had to drive to the owner's mother's house to retrieve them, which was inconvenient and somewhat awkward.The worst part of the stay, however, was absolutely the upstairs neighbor, who was so loud that I actually went up to ask if they could mind the noise. He said it was his dog, but it sounded like a very large person was stomping across the floor at all hours of the day and night. It was disruptive to say the least.While the apartment left quite a bit to be desired, the area is nice to walk around (beach is not accessible by foot), and the host was extremely responsive, polite, and communicative. Also, the parking space for the unit is well-located near the garage entrance and the elevator to the apartment.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry the property did not meet your expectations. I would like to clarify a few points for future guests. This is not advertised as an ultra-luxury property, and the nightly rate reflects that. Comparable luxury accommodations in this area typically cost two to three times more. Regarding package deliveries, our building only allows residents access to the package room. To make things easier, I personally arranged for your packages to be delivered to a secure nearby address just a 2-minute drive away. The beach is approximately a 10-minute walk from the apartment, not inaccessible by foot as stated in your review. The sofa is a full-size West Elm queen sleeper, not a loveseat. While normal movement on a sleeper sofa may produce some sound, we appreciate the feedback and will inspect it. As you mentioned, when you notified me about the cleaning issue, it was addressed immediately. Unfortunately, neighboring residents are outside of a host’s control, but I did everything I could to assist during your stay. I appreciate you recognizing my responsiveness and communication, and I wish you all the best in your future travels.
