Location, location, location! Charming, romantic, sunny and airy historic beach bungalow. Come feel the beautiful ocean breezes.The property is located on a quiet residential street surrounded by 3+ million dollar properties. Enjoy local architecture while being steps away from the beach, chicest restaurants, shops, and galleries. Main Street's Sunday Farmers Market is a must see. Salons, yoga, spinning studios within a 5 min. walk. A car is not necessary for this location. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and small families with kids (We can not accommodate toddlers ages 1-4):Please see rental rules. Your space consists of 2 bedrooms and den that converts to 3rd bedroom: 1 queen, 2 twins (a trundle daybed with pull out twin), Den that converts to a 3rd bedroom with sofa bed(double) that folds out--perfect for a teem, child, or young adult, and 1.5 bathrooms , lazy front porch for morning coffee, back deck for sunning, huge backyard with hammock for napping, alfresco dining with outdoor BBQ, string lights, and bubbling fountain..Historic details like bay windows leaded glass windows, crystal doorknobs, and craftsman detailing are abundant. The kitchen is a cook's kitchen with high end stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and is equipped with all supplies, spices, and dishes.
This home is in the heart of the most popular Santa Monica area. A short walk to Venice and just 2 blocks away from trendy shops and restaurants. Third Street Promenade: 15 mim walk. Pier: 15 min walk. Use this has a home base and take day trips to Malibu/hiking 20 min drive, Hollywood 35 min drive, Disneyland 45min drive. Sleeps up to 5 and is just an easy walk to the beach. This is the ideal and utterly charming rental for a couple or family. Soak up the local ambiance. Stroll through the neighborhood and view historic and modern architecture. Weekend in Santa Monica

We had a lovely stay at this home. The location is wonderful. The home has everything you need and plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Driveway parking made it easy to take quick trips and the area is very walkable. Thank you Devon for a great stay.

Great stay

A very comfortable house well stocked with what you need. Took a minute to figure out the TV, but we got it working. Cozy house, safe neighborhood. Nice backyard area.

Home from home in Santa Monica

Fantastic location for the beach but easy to get further afield too (we went to Universal). Well equipped little home with lots of gear to take down to the beach for all ages.

Perfect home for a stay in Santa Monica

This historic house was perfect for a family of 5. The house was clean, well-equipped, nicely designed, and in a great location. Devon, the property manager was attentive and kind. We will definitely stay here again!

Brilliant property

We loved our 4 night stay. Property was exactly as listed and our 3 kids fit perfectly. Kitchen is fantastic and stocked very well. Gardens were immaculate and beautiful to view. Location felt very safe and it was so quiet at night. The kids loved the beach supplies and we swam every day. Oh and the laundry set up was fantastic for traveling families. Definitely recommend.

Charming Historic Home

Fabulous location, exactly as advertised, and lovely home. My friends and I enjoyed all that Santa Monica had to offer and were within walking distance to everything. The home is simply beautiful with modern amenities while maintaining the historic features. The lush backyard garden was the perfect relaxation spot. Our host Devon was very easy to communicate with and we hope to return again another time.

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful stay at Devons house. The house was very clean and the backyard with seating and bbq was very nice. Beautiful Accommodation

Accommodation was exactly as described. Absolutely beautiful property. Walking distance to restaurants & cafes. Quite neighbourhood. We felt very safe walking around. Bedding was comfortable & entire property was very clean. Communication with host was always easy. Highly recommend this property. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, convenient location

The pictures don't do it justice--a wonderful space with a great back yard for entertaining, just a few blocks from the beach and Main St coffee/shops. Not far from LAX, driveway parking with spots for guests. Devon was a sweetheart. Highly recommend.

Lovely house and great host

This clean, charming and well-maintained property is just as described and within easy walking distance from the beach. The front porch was a favorite spot among all our group, where we could sit and enjoy the ocean air and read or just watch the passersby. We encountered a small issue on arrival and our very responsive host immediately stepped in to resolve. I hope to be able to stay here again.

Fabulous property, excellent location, lovely owner

The house was gorgeous. Fully stocked kitchen for utensils. Thoughtful extras like beach towels and beach toys for the kids. The only downside was the third bedroom, that wasn’t a bedroom as such, it was a convertible sofa. We really needed a proper third bedroom. Other than that the property was amazing!!! Highly recommend.

Amazing home

This house is simply amazing. The photographs, although excellent, don't fully do it justice; when people walking by on the street compliment you on how pretty “your” house is then you know that you are somewhere very special. The house is as perfect inside as it is out; everything is extremely high quality and spotlessly clean, with lots of nice touches to make your stay really special. The multiple gardens are beautiful. In a quiet and safe location that is only 5 min walk from the main shopping street and less than 10 min walk from the beach. The house is in an ideal spot to make the most of what Santa Monica has to offer. There is easy freeway access and attractions around LA were an easy drive. We thoroughly recommend it—you will not be disappointed.
