We specifically chose this unit because we noticed there were two comfy recliners, that was a plus! The king mattress was also comfy, though an additional/optional blanket would have been nice. The unit is appealing and the view is amazing. Very clean. We forgot to bring coffee, so we opted for the main floor complimentary coffee. (This was our only complaint- it was not good, but it’s our fault for not bringing our own. )If you want to rent umbrella and chairs, ask the front desk for info and be sure to reserve before 6pm the day before you need. We love the Galvestonian!

Our Favorite Getaway

Reviewer Comments: We stayed on the 12th floor and had a fantastic view of the gulf.Pelicans literally hovered just off our balcony.The beach and chairs that we rented were a perfect getaway for us.When we came in from the beach we would relax by the pool and enjoy the hot tub.And of course the restaurants in the area are just incredible.
