Quiet and peaceful and yet close to De Land, only 20 miles from Daytona Beach and just down the road from the historic Old Spanish Sugar Mill at De Leon Springs State Park. One hour and fifteen minutes north of Walt Disney World. Bar-BQ, microwave, refrigerator, electric cooker, tea kettle, coffee pot, toaster, TV, professional pest control. NO Wi-Fi, NO ACCESS TO POOL OR LAUNDRY ROOM.

Weekend Family Stay

We enjoyed staying on this lovely horse property. Our small human enjoyed walking around and seeing the horses in real life. The cottage was comfortable for us and our pack and play fit in the main bedroom on the side which allowwd us to keep and eye on the small guman for naps and also get around in the room.

July 4th weekend stay

Got to feed some of the horses on the farm.Very comfortable cottage.Friendly, helpful staff and owner..Close to Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Deland, etc. Numerous cities with interesting downtown areas.Great “country” getaway.Thanks!

Peaceful and Comfortable.

Stayed for 2 nights while in Daytona for a festival. Checkin in was easy and host responded to questions very fast. Not the easiest place to find when leaving a music festival at midnight but very comfortable and had no problem sleeping

Quiet country stay

We had a wedding at nearby Whitewood Ranch and found this charming home. It was a sweet get away to a different Florida. The pictures are accurate and the price reasonable. I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness for small things (hair on shower wall, a used contact lens on table in living room, and lupstick stains on wine glass). All in all it was lively and comfortable.

Location was perfect

We loved being so close to the springs to catch the pancake breakfast before the crowds! Just the right size for the five of us! Girls strolled the walking trails while boys cleaned up. Easy drive to Eustis, Deltona, and New Smyrna Beach. (45 min) Jean was super nice and helpful. Our 2nd stay! Thank you!

If your children enjoy horses, this is your place! The grandkids enjoyed feeding and learning of the procedure for training. The overall experience was five Star!

Cute cottage

Our family of 4 stayed for 4 nights. The space was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed walking around, petting the horses and giving them apples. We are looking forward to watching some of the training on our next stay!

Amazing get away

Our stay at this cottage was great, it felt extremely homey the kids truly enjoyed it getting to walk around and see the horses and view the landscape was truly a plus. We would definitely stay here again in the future for get aways.

Did the trick!

We only stayed 1 night but it worked out great. Nice, clean, cozy place. The property is beautiful and the best part is being able to walk the property, greet and pet all the horses. It was perfect for getting us to DeLeon Springs and the Sugar Mill Pancake House the next morning. I don’t know that we will ever be back to this area but if so we will definitely look to stay here again.

We race!

My husband, son and daughter in law stayed here for proximity to Daytona for the races. Overall the property was great. The ceiling is on the low side, so very tall people would not be well accommodated.
