While we couldn’t resolve everything immediately, we scheduled professional cleaning and maintenance after your checkout to tackle the concerns fully. As for the vacuum or mop request, we sincerely apologize for not fulfilling that—it’s something we’ll work on improving for future long-term guests. Regarding the post-stay charges, we only applied these after inspecting the property for damages. While we understand your frustration, photos and documentation of the stained towels and wall scratches were taken. If there’s still confusion, we’re happy to provide further clarification. I’m glad the place worked overall for your trip, but I’m a bit surprised to hear about some of the issues you mentioned, as none of them were brought up during your stay. If you had let us know, we would’ve been more than happy to address the humidity, bugs, or any confusion with parking right away. Parking in DC can definitely be tricky with time limits and restrictions, but it’s something we’re familiar with, and we could have helped clarify options or find a better solution if you’d reached out. We’ll also make sure the listing is clearer about parking to avoid any confusion in the future. As for the trash, we do ask guests to take it out as part of our check-out process to keep things tidy for the next arrival. The cleaning fee covers a full turnover, but this small task helps ensure smooth transitions. That said, we understand it can feel like an extra hassle, and we’ll take this feedback into account. I’m sorry if the experience felt impersonal—that’s not how we want our guests to feel, and we’re always here to assist in any way we can.
