Only a 5-minute drive from one of the county's premier trout streams and conveniently close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, West Jefferson, and New River State Park. Adventure and relaxation await at your doorstep. Embark on outdoor excursions such as canoeing/kayaking/tubing on the New River, explore a nearby winery, or simply unwind and soak in the natural beauty that surrounds you.

The cottage was very clean when we arrived. Has everything you need for a nice stay. Very nice, serene view off the front porch! Alan was very communicative leading up to and during our stay and ensured we had what we needed. Would definitely recommend booking and would again myself if we find ourselves back in the area in the future.

This place is a hidden gem. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you will need during your stay. The host were absolutely amazing, we had fresh farm eggs in the fridge when we arrived. The owner checked in to see if we needed anything while we were there. We will definitely stay here again.

Jeffrey and his son were great guest. Left the cottage in great condition and could not tell they had even been there. Would certainly recommend them to other hosts and we do hope he returns.

What a pleasant experience we had! Our view was beautiful! The cottage was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Sue and Alan were most gracious hosts. We can't wait to go back!!'

Great Vacation

Cottage was great and had everything you need. Property is somewhat remote, but perfect if you want to get away from town and be out in the country. I would highly recommend if you enjoy peace and privacy.

Memorial Weekend Stay; Highly Recommended

This place is beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. The owner is very nice and we are happy we had the opportunity to meet him. I have no complaints at all. We have already booked to return in July. This will continue to be one of our go to places.

Peaceful and quiet

Place is clean and well stocked with everything you would need (besides food, bring what you want since you're not near stores). Plush towels. The owners were very nice. Helped with fishing spots, restaurants and things to do, and left us a dozen fresh eggs from their chickens. Download the directions as you might lose cell signal in the mountains. Would definitely stay at this cottage again!

Kristina and her husband were qreat guests. Except for used linens and towels we could not tell they were there. We'd welcome them back anytime.
