We are 4 families (8 adults, 7 kids under 10). This property had more beds than we needed, but was perfect for us. Each adult Bedroom had an en-suite bathroom and there were three king suites we didn’t use. There were 2 rooms with 4 bunk beds each. All doubles. It was great! The pool feels safe since it is in a locked, separate building.On check-in we realized there were no corn-hole bags and a shortage of tea-spoons … they were delivered ASAP.

The property itself is ideal for travel to Gatlinburg and/or Pigeon Forge. Any issues we had were quickly addressed by Jordan. It was not super clean but we made it work, someone had Clorox wipes. There is a broom and dust pan but a vacuum would have been helpful.We had 10 adults and three toddlers. Plenty of room but not a lot of food storage area. “Kuerig” was not good and we were unable to use it….not the one pictured. There is a coffee pot so it worked out. The pool and hot tub were used often as well as the putt putt.

Family vacation

It was an excellent option to stay between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! The house was perfect and met all of our needs!

We had a 4 families stay here together for our annual family trip and had a great time! Very spacious, good location, quiet area, great amenities, and clean! The host responded to any questions we had during the stay. Would definitely book again!

Excellent location for a vacation in the Smokey Mountains, nice roads to get to the local towns and activities. The problems we had with the property were addressed by the host in a timely manner. The beds are all very comfortable and with several in our family being on the shorter side it was nice not needing a step stool to get into them.Bring a first aid kit, especially if you have children needing bandaids, as there isn't one at the house. The spacer bar on the floor on the upper level is broken in spots and because of the two different heights, stubbing toes on it was a frequent thing. We found purchasing paper plates helped with not having to do dishes so often.

The cabin is just as pictured. The location is perfect - 20 mins from everything and still in a scenic area away from the main tourist areas. The host was very responsive when we had questions. Our group had an amazing time! Highly recommend.

House looked exactly like the pictures. The host was very responsive. We had brought some large pots and a crock pot with us as we had read the reviews on lack of large pots and pans. The kids had a great time playing mini golf and enjoying the pool. Very easy 20 minute drive to pigeon forge and Dollywood. Beds were comfortable and had enough towels for everyone. We had a group of 20 and there was plenty of space in the house and on the deck. The only thing we were lacking was a pantry to put food as there were dishes in almost every cabinet. There was a small shelf and cabinet under a mirror, but it was filled with games and didn't have much space so our food was just in boxes on the floor most of the week. Overall the house was amazing and the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom made it easy for everyone to get ready for our excursions at the same time. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely consider staying here again. Bonus was a family of raccoons living right out back and getting to see the mom and babies hanging out in the trees behind the deck.

Pros: Clean upon arrival. Location was great to get to/from most places without having to sit in traffic. Spacious bedrooms that allow for large families to have their own space and bathroom. Large common area to hangout upstairs and downstairs. The pool was a huge hit. Outdoor mini golf was fun. Cons: Babies and young children might have a difficult time falling asleep as there are not too many acoustical barriers between living areas and bedrooms. Downstairs living area did not have a large table. No outdoor gathering place. There are narrow decks, but the space for a large gathering outdoors is occupied by the mini golf course. Overall: would recommend. We enjoyed the rental and the cons were minor in the grand scheme of things.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. We picked this house for our family vacation because of its location, the size of the house, and the amenities of the house.The house was the perfect amount of space for our extended family trip. We really enjoyed swimming, using the hot tub, playing putt-putt.The host was attentive to any questions I sent their way. They were helpful and kind.

Loved Black Fox Lodge!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The communication with the owner was seamless, and we found the space to be immaculate and aesthetically pleasing in person. It came well-stocked with essentials for a comfortable start, and there's even a nearby Family Dollar store if you happen to forget anything important. The property is also centrally located to many major attractions just being a short 15 to 20 minute drive in either direction. We would definitely book again in the future!

We traveled 8 1/2 hours to get there and the code that was given to us was apparently wrong. Had to call to get the problem corrected and really couldn’t understand the person other end of phone. It took almost an hour to get the new code. After that was resolved. No problems until the end of stay. Tried to lock the door to the pool area and the code that was given to us didn’t work. Also at the beginning of the stay. The pool door was already unlocked.

Family Trip

This house was amazing and everything was just like the pictures! It fit our large group with no problem, lots of space! It was nice that every room had a bathroom and everything was clean! Only complaints we had was not enough outside seating and no large bowls in the kitchen. We utilized every part of this house. Pool and hot tub was a hit! Would definitely recommend and would come back. Contact with the owner was nice and easy, no complaints there.

Nice cabin, plenty of room.

Overall it was a great experience. The property changed hands to a new owner a week before we left for our trip but we were able to rebook at the same price. A friend staying with us left an iPad at the cabin and when I contacted the host they wrapped it securely and shipped it to us. The cabin had lots of space for all 16 of us and large bedrooms. Only negative was that when we got there the hot tub was fine, but the chlorine tablets ran out after day 2. We notified the host but no one came to maintenance the hot tub so we could not use it the last two days.

The hot tub had contaminated water in it. 1 person went to the urgent care to find that they had ecoli, 2 had hot tub feliculitis, which is also caused by the same ecoli bacteria, 5 of the children exhibited symptoms of the ecoli with severe stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhea. We asked them to replace the water

Last minute family vacation save

We traveled as a family of 15 and upon arrival to our first booked home we quickly found out the details listed were not accurate for the house we had previously booked and we had to find something last minute to book that would accommodate our large party. I reached out to the host and asked if this place was available to check in immediately. The host was very responsive and we were able to check in literally 30 minutes after reaching out. When we got to the house it was absolutely amazing. Spacious, clean and amazing amenities such as the pool table, heated pool and putt putt area all attached to this home. The bedrooms with their own bathrooms were just what we were needing for our large group of adults and teens. We had a slight issue of needing more wash cloths and that was handled promptly after letting the host know. We did struggle a little making large batches of food for our large party with the pots and pans that were available but we made do with what was available. But again with the last minute change of plans and this place being available and all that we were wanting and expecting from the first place we had booked, we wouldn’t complain about a single thing. We would definitely book this property again and again. Thank you again for saving our family trip!
