Wonderful place to stay! Home was so clean and the host communicated so well and quick with us. Was in a great quiet area with a beautiful view of the beach. We would definitely come back to this home!

This home had all the quiet beach bungalow charm we were looking for. We visited as extended family, so wanted to stay in and cook together, and the kitchen was well-appointed for this. The furnishings were lovely and comfortable -- just perfect. Lots of shelling and beach walks. I wouldn't change a thing!

Adorable beach cottage

Rental is spotless with terrific seating on the deck facing the beach. There is a beach access directly next to the home which is great for getting to/from the ocean quickly. There was a bit of foot traffic during the day.

Last minute weekend getaway

The Salt Life was great for my last-minute weekend getaway. The house was clean and the renovation was exactly as the pictures showed. I loved the location since I was looking for a quiet weekend away but if you are interested in being closer into town and where the restaurants are then this may be a little too far for you. The beach was quiet and it was amazing to be able to walk right over the dune to the house.

Modern Beach Bungalow

Cute, old school beach cottage that has been remodeled and is well furnished and decorated. House is light, bright and cheerful. FYI to potential renters…sand rinse off hose on deck is connected to hot water…scalding hot if on for more than 10 seconds, W/D located below house in outdoor closet with sand floor. The master bedroom had major floor unleveling with a section of the floor that was tented with planks coming loose across the entire room. We made owners aware of the issue and they said they had plans to fix following our departure. I would make sure this is addressed as we tripped every time we walked through the room. Lovely section of the beach, easiest access ever and would definitely rent again if floor issues were fixed. No toiletries or K cups are provided so bring your own!

Thank you! We had the new floors fixed and unfortunately it appeared to be due to a roof leak from Debby tropical storm... all has been addressed and corrected but we are sorry not before your stay. That is a first we have heard about the water hose but will make sure to have someone check that out immediately. Thank you for mentioning!
