What better place to relax and enjoy a well-deserved break!
"Paradise Point" is the perfect getaway for a family, friend, or couple's vacation. At "the point" you will enjoy Panoramic Views of both the Shallotte River and the beautiful intracoastal waterways. Paradise Point has a beautiful Pier to fish, hang out, or just watch the boats go by. We have a refreshing pool. You have the option to heat the pool for an additional fee, any time of the year! Paradise Point also a jet ski port if you would like to bring your jet ski (we previously had a floating dock for a boat but replaced it with a jet ski port and smaller dock spring of 2026) . Spend the day laying in the hammock and an evening in the hot tub or around the fire pit! It is a short drive to either Ocean Isle Beach or Holden Beach. At the point you will be close to the beach, yet at a private, serene getaway. Paradise Point has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths downstairs. All bathrooms have been recently renovated. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and one bath plus a bunk area and loft with comfortable seating and a smart TV. There is free wifi throughout the house. On the main level there is a fully stocked kitchen. 4 people can sit at the island and there is a table that sits 6-8 guests. The family room has reclining chairs and a 65" TV mounted over the electric fireplace. But, the most breathtaking part of the house is stepping out to the oversized deck. The deck has an eating area, a propane firepit with captains chairs, a propane grill and a screened porch. Under the porch we have an underdeck with a hot tub, tiki bar, charcoal grill, and sitting area. Under the house, we have a ping pong table! Within walking distance is a fabulous restaurant, The Inlet View Bar and Grill (open mid February to end of November). The kids can enjoy endless hours playing in the pool, playing ping pong, looking for sea shells or hermit crabs, catching stone crabs in the crab trap or playing in the sand area down by the water. Paradise Point is a great location with lots to do for children and adults of all ages!

We had an absolutely wonderful trip! Amazing property on the ICW and host! The host had everything covered from basic spices in the kitchen to kayaks, grills, and a tiki bar. The pool was wonderful for relaxing and the view over the water from the covered deck was especially priceless at night looking at the stars. Very relaxing vacation but close enough to North Myrtle Beach for some extra excursions. Would definitely book again.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this well appointed home tucked in a quiet location. It was so relaxing to watch the boats go by on the ICW. The hosts were great and so thoughtful. Everyone in town and neighbors were all so friendly. Excellent!

This house was AMAZING! The house is very well stocked and clean. Communication with the host was very prompt. Plenty of seating in all areas inside and outside of the house. I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. We ended up not using the kayaks, the currents seemed pretty strong with the tides going in and out, and the channel is pretty busy with boats going through. Kids really enjoyed fishing off the pier. It had a sink and was covered with plenty of furniture as well. The pool kept getting dirt/debris from trees which was hard to keep clean, but other than that was fun to use as well. Would definitely recommended this place and hope we can come back again!

Thank you so much for the kind review! Sorry for the dirt and debris in the pool! Our beautiful cedar tree is getting so big that it's creating more debris but I'll talk to my amazing pool crew to see if there's anything they can do! Hope y'all can come back!

Our annual beach trip was such a success. Usually we opt for sunset beach but we saw the posting and had to give it a try … Boy am I glad we did. Access to a pool, a nice doc, and the outdoor space was everything we didn’t know we needed. With a 2 year old, we had so much space for all of his activities. The house was equity with everything you can think of and the decor made it all feel so homey. The bedrooms were a nice space to not feel squished and the living spaces brought everyone together. We already reserved our slot for next year and are counting down the days.

Our family all agreed it was the best place we have ever stayed. We had everything we needed to have a wonderful week. We made the decision to have the pool heated and it was worth the additional cost. Our grandbuddies loved fishing and swimming. Thanks for sharing your wonderful retreat!! Look no further. Excellent property, beautiful pool, amazing gazebo on pier to enjoy cool breezes, great kitchen for cooking, comfy beds, thick soft towels, walk to a really good restaurant and more. Even caught red drum right off the pier. We will definitely be coming back!

Stay at Paradise Point
This property is absolutely amazing! Gretchen was such a pleasure to communicate with and book our reservation. We would definitely love to stay at Paradise Point again in the future. A number of beaches and fun activities are located so closely. The area is great for all ages!

Family Wedding
The stay was great! Even though it was cold, the place was great. The kids loved the sand beach. Dolphins came by and the kids were amazed. The house was clean, well stacked, beautiful. We will definitely stay here again!

A little piece of paradise
We stayed at Paradise Point for our family summer vacation and it truly did not disappoint! It is the perfect place to make lasting memories and there is so much to do! Gretchen was fantastic with communication and we truly feel like this is a place we will visit again and again!

My husband, Matt, and I have been married for 22 years. We have 2 children ages 20 and 18, a boy and a girl. We enjoy playing sports, hanging out with friends and family, attending Church, and most of all, going to Paradise Point!

This property has been in my husband's family since the 1930's. This house was built by his Aunt and Uncle and we had the opportunity to buy it in the summer of 2015. My husband grew up fishing and playing on this property and waterways and we have been coming here since we started dating. He even proposed to me on the pier of our new house over the 3rd of July, 2002. When we had the opportunity to buy the house, we just could not pass it up. It is a secret spot that is truly paradise!

The Views at Paradise Point are like no others. We frequently see yachts, barges, sailboats and shrimp boats go by. When fishing we have caught various fish, sting rays, eels, flounder, trout, and even an octopus! It is so much fun to leave the crab trap out and see what you get or to put out the minnow trap and use fresh minnow for bait. If you enjoy fishing, this is the place for you. And, if you don't fish, you will have so much fun watching (and may enjoy fishing after this experience). There is a man-made beach beside the water but the actual waterfront is located on an oyster shell bank. While this requires swimmers to wear water shoes, it also allows for entertaining sea shell and crab hunting. We also have a beautiful pool with a fire pit seating area beside it and an underdeck with a hot tub, tiki bar, tv and more! The most relaxing thing about Paradise Point to me is watching the sunset. It is just a breathtaking time of day. We have several different outdoor sitting areas so you can see if from a slightly different spot every day! We love to eat in so there is a fully stocked kitchen and a grill for your use. However, if you choose to eat out, the Inlet View Bar and grill is within walking distance (.1 miles). If you enjoy site seeing, historical areas, or touristy events; Wilmington and Myrtle Beach are 45 minutes away. The beach is an easy 10 minute drive but nothing beats coming back to Paradise Point!
